There is no minibar and they give you a credit to get something out of their shop, but the only thing you can get with the credit is sodas and beer. You cannot get liquor or wine with the credit you have to pay cash for that. You cannot order room service for an alcoholic beverage. you must leave your room and go to the bar in order to get an alcoholic beverage. I felt as though this was very inconvenient and if I am paying for an all-inclusive resort with an all-inclusive mini bar, I should be able to get alcohol in my room.
I got a room with a swim pool and in order for me to enjoy a drink while swimming, I would have to go to one of the On Site bars and get as many drinks as I could hold or make multiple trips and store them by the pool or get out of the pool to walk to a bar to get a drink. I know that there is a swim up bar, but in order for us to access the swim bar we would have to swim to the other end of the pool get out of the pool walk over the bridge to get down in the pool again to get access to the swim bar and repeat that process with our drinks and swim with the drinks in our hand back to our room. The menu options were very limited and often times we ended up eating the same things because a lot of items were out that were on the menu. We did a romantic dinner on the beach and the menu that we ordered was not what was provide provided and we had to eat what they provided us, which was exactly what we had ordered the night before.
