Just stayed 5 days here with my wife and 2 year old. We really enjoyed it and would come back with more family. The thing that really stands out is the food. When I hear all-inclusive, I assume there’s going to be some hit on quality but that is somehow not the case here. They manage to have buffets with an incredible amount of variety where the food tastes just as good as if you ordered it at a quality restaurant. For the buffets alone, this place is worth checking out. But then there are “a la carte” restaurants you can make reservations with. We enjoyed the Teppanyaki, hibachi grill.
Our 2 year old loves pools and we had lots of fun swimming around in several of the pools they have as well as their lazy river. Honestly, if you like hanging in and out of a pool, this is really a great spot for that.
The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. Everyone you see from the housekeepers to the servers to the shuttle bus drivers is hardworking and kind.
An important thing to keep in mind is Quintana Roo (Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Akumal, Tulum, etc.) and large parts of the Caribbean are experiencing high levels of Sargassum, this really smelly form of seaweed that overwhelms the beach. Apparently Sargassum season runs from April to September or so. It makes the beach super smelly. The poor staff were shoveling and carting that stuff off the beach but there is just so much of it.
Overall, we still had a great stay and would come back.
