Das Hotel hat keinen richtigen Strandabschnitt, so dass die Zimmer mit Meerblick wirklich sehr dicht am Meer liegen was einerseits natürlich schön ist aber auch etwas unsicher, weil der Strand öffentlich zugänglich ist und dort nachts betrunkene Leute auf die Idee kommen im Meer zu baden oder sich dort aufhalten, was sehr laut war. Dafür gab es aber einen anderen Strand (North Beach), wo auch andere Hotels lagen, der weitaus besser war. Leider fehlt dort eine Dusche und keine Sonnenschirme. Es gab ab 12:00 Animation am Pool, die ebenfalls sehr laut war und die Musik hört man bei geschlossenen Fenstern in den Zimmern. Es gibt keine richtigen Ausweich- oder Rückzugsmöglichkeiten. Es ist eher ein Partyhotel, und nicht wie wir bei einem adults only hotel gedacht haben ein ruhigeres-zwar geht das Abendprogramm nur bis 22:00, aber die allgemeine Lautstärke mindert sich durch Betrunkene wenig. Die Qualität des Essens war eher mittelmäßig, auch das in den a la carte Restaurants. Manchmal schlecht, manchmal dann aber auch ziemlich gut. Wir haben für 269 USD ein Weihnachtsdinner gebucht, welches jedoch sehr enttäuschend war und nicht zu empfehlen. Die Show dazu war ein Zusammenschnitt der an den sonstigen Abenden gezeigten Aufführungen. Das Personal ist größtenteils erst wirklich freundlich, wenn es Trinkgeld bekommen hat und davon benötigt man reichlich. Ich empfehle viele 1 $ Scheine mitzunehmen. Am Pool gibt es zu wenig Liegen, dafür eine Menge Cabanas, die man für 79 USD täglich

Die Nähe zur Vergnügungsstrasse Quinta Avenida, die Lautstärke vorm Hotel und in den Hotelfluren. Nicht gefallen hat uns, dass man zu den einzelnen Mahlzeiten nicht draußen sitzen konnte. Immer im stark runtergekühlten Saal, der war immer laut beschallt mit Musik und von den Gästen.

Eigentlich ear alles ok bis auf das Zimmer. Der Balkon ging auf die technische Installationen des Hotels und der Laerm war enorm! Wir langem insistieren erhielten eir ein anderes Zimmer, aber einfach gegenueber mit Balkon auf die Strasse. Der Laerm war immer noch vorhanden. Das erste Zimmer war fuer so ein Hotel eine Zumutung

The staff is wonderful, curteous, and always helpful. Typically not big on eating at a buffett, but the hotel's was very good. Easy access to main strip shopping and dining - hard to go wrong!

My husband and I have stayed at the Hilton across the street few times before staying at Wyndham. We liked Wyndham more. Food is so much better, and I believe the staff is more friendly. Make sure you get the junior suite and not the standard double bed room because it’s too small.

If you can get past the horrific smell of sewage (I'm told it's the seaweed buildup) the rest is amazing! Lots of food choices, pizza, sushi, buffet, coffee shop and absolutely everyone was so helpful and friendly. Waldo across the street made us feel safe and planned our excursions with ease. Several shops and dining a walk away. The beach was uninhabital because of the seaweed but we prefer the pools anyway.

My husband and I absolutely loved this resort! The staff is amazing, the food in all of the property restaurants (4 total). We even had room service a few times. Pools were great. We especially enjoyed the daily/nightly on-site activities. 10/10 recommend!!!

The property was awesome. Food, staff, cleanliness, entertainment every night was great. Pools were great. Jose the pool waiter was the best. We had a hydrotherapy and massage that was fantastic. Highly recommend. Unfortunately, we stayed a week during seaweed season. Which eventually lets out , a not too pleasant odor. That’s just nature doing it’s thing. I would definitely recommend this property but not in the seaweed season.

second second time here and I fell in love with the property. The people are very nice. Rooms are clean. Ocean view is amazing. We stayed at the oceanfront beach walkouts. I'd like that. The security guards were very helpful as well as check in to check out love this place very pretty and the food was great.

Hotel is spotless, really clean. Service was great and friendly. Only downside was that you need to make a reservation for the restaurants and there’s only certain amount of spots per night. Buffet was ok, not bad not great.

Hotel was fine. There were three dinner restaurants to choose from. 2 were not good at all. The 3rd was fantastic. Some of the best food I have ever eaten. The buffet was much better than I would have expected and I enjoyed eating there for breakfast and most lunches. The sushi place for a lunch option was also good. We did have one day where we could not find a chair by the pool that was shaded. They need more sun umbrellas over the chairs for those that prefer not to be in the direct sun all day. The staff were quite friendly which I appreciated. I was very disappointed that we had to have cold showers for a few days as it took us a few days to figure out the mechanisms for hot and cold were installed backwards. The room was on the street by the beach walk up area and could be loud sometimes, but not too bad. We did have a room that could be connected (an unknown couple on the other side) and we could hear everything through the door which made for it to be annoyingly loud when they played music on their side. Thankfully the room was on the other side was occupied only for two days of our stay otherwise I would have asked to move to a different room without a connecting door. Although it was super convenient to be so close to 5th ave shopping and the one dinner restaurant was great, I am not sure we would stay here again. The bad outweighed the good in too many ways unfortunately,

I loved the old style Mexican design. Very unique. Food was good, staff awesome, drinks fair. My one complaint is there is so much noise from outside at the crack of dawn. Hard to sleep past 6 am.

The beach was unexceptional and the no smoking policy was rediculous and the fact my friends had to leave early because of your pool not being grounded she was shocked twice because of her pacemaker and you did nothing to compensate her her was unfair this was not her fault and this cost her a lot of money and very high anxiety. Also lack of entertainment at night and what you did have was over at 8 pm. Very disappointed in my stay

This place had an amazing atmosphere. First resort I have ever been to with brilliant entertainment - like really good entertainment we loved absolutely everything about that. The silent disco, pool foam party and fire show were outstanding. I would recommend paying for a pool cabana for a day! Service is great that way. Only downside was the seaweed season was so rife they had loads of rotting seaweed on the poolside beach area which did massively stink out that area and the adjacent rooms. If that was cleared it would have literally been amazing. The northfromt beach access was fine though and the air conditioned rooms had no bad smell. In all a brilliant brilliant place to stay for a fun getaway! The food was also really good at the buffet but the room service is a bit of a no go. Thank you wydham for a fabulous stay :)

This trip was supposed to be special for our 30 th anniversary. I wanted to cry when we finally got there. This resort had NO beach. The little there is has seaweed that smells like raw sewage.covering it from gates to ocean. The mixed drinks barely have a splash of alcohol. I watched as they made drinks for about 20 min. Everybody wants you to spend money. I booked FULL OCEAN VIEW and they said will if you lean off the balcony and look to the right you can see it. Soo $200 upgrade. Waiters ignore you unless you tip. I asked if there was sister hotel we could spend the day at the beach and they just tried to sell me $300 excursions. I bought pictures from an onsite photographer for over $100 from a romantic dinner I booked and have not received the email with the pictures. The roof top dinner was a joke at another $200.00 I do not recommend this super smelly money pit. I really tried to make it special with upgrades and dinner but we were very disappointed.

I purchased a junior suite and the picture showed a view of the ocean I get there and the room is a suite but facing a block wall with no view and they say if I want ocean view I have to pay an extra 280$ and then every excursion activity you can purchase once you get there they try to get you to pay extra money for the same thing you already bought saying they could upgrade it but it’s not they just try to get extra money out of all the time for nothing and the pool gave me a rash all over and they tried to say it was a heat rash
