Nice hotel at a great beach with good service
Hotel has a great location at the beach. It has the best beach on this side of the city. Internet is ok but slow as in all the hotels of the island. Good breakfast - they do bring you more. It looks a little far from the main restaurant area but it is worth the walk as the hotel area is quiet and there's no party next to the hotel so that you'll sleep like an angel! Btw. The view of the stars is amazing!

Anlage ist gut gepflegt. Liegestühle am Strand sind sehr bequem. Zimmer sind geräumig und sauber. Betten sind auch bequem. Lage ist relativ zentral und trotzdem ruhig. Hilfsbereites Personal. Würde jederzeit wieder hier übernachten.

Ein süßes kleines Hotel auf einer traumhaften Insel. Die Lage ist absolut top. Sehr ruhig und Direkt am Strand, kostenlose Liegen und WLAN (langsam), Frühstück im Sand unter freiem Himmel, Beachview Lage. Das Frühstück war gut bis auf den Instant Orangensaft. Was nicht gut war: Badezimmer mit Dusche (5 Strahlte), abgenutze kaputte Handtücher mit Löchern (zwar sauber aber unansehnlich), KEIN Fön, Zimmer sehr klein (teuerste Kategorie) Für ein angebliches 4-Sterne-Hotel kann man da mehr erwarten.

Gemütliche, saubere Zimmer, eine gepflegte Ablage mit Pool und freundliches Personal bieten ein Hotel mit großem Potential. Leider gab es wesentliche Einschnitte: - trotz gebuchten Meerblick bekamen wir ein Zimmer ohne Meerblick, durften jedoch nach einer Nacht umziehen. Die Zimmer haben (bis auf eines) keinen oder maximal eingeschränkten Meerblick. - durch die weißen “Zelte“ am Strand wird der Meerblick selbst am Strand zerstört, - der Strand wurde nicht von Seegras befreit und war leider zum schwimmen nicht geeignet (neben dem teilweise starken Geruch) - die Mitarbeiter sind an teilweise völlig sinnlose Regeln gebunden, die den Wohlfühlfaktor leider begrenzen (Pool nur von 10-19 Uhr, Bar schließt schon um 18 Uhr, es muss alles tageweise bezahlt werden etc.) Fazit: bei für Mexiko recht hohem Preis wurden die Erwartungen leider nicht erfüllt.

Ort zum Relaxen!
Die Hotelanlage ist noch nicht alt umd deshalb in einem sehr guten Zustand. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und würden jederzeot wieder dort buchen!

Tolles Hotel an einem schönen kleinen Strand.
Die Zimmer sind toll. Alles relativ neu und mit vielen schönen Details eingerichtet. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und das Essen hervorragend. Ich werde bestimmt wieder hier wohnen wenn ich auf der tollen Insel Holbox bin.

Perfekt gelegen, ruhig & doch zentral
Das Hotel bietet alles, was man braucht: gemütliche Betten, saubere Zimmer, ein reichhaltiges Frühstück, nettes Personal und eine perfekte Lage. Wir konnten sogar bereits um 13 statt um 15 Uhr Einchecken. Ins Zentrum läuft man ca. 5 Minuten, der Strand ist direkt vor der Tür. Und auch das Refugio Holbox ist direkt um die Ecke, wenn man sich mal einen vierbeinigen Begleiter für den Strand ausleihen möchte. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker, neben Brot, Marmelade, Kaffee, Saft, Tee und Obst konnte man sich von der Karte noch weitere warme Speisen wie Rührei etc. Kommen lassen. Das Personal ist äußerst zuvorkommend und nett und macht alles möglich. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön eingerichtet, einzig eine Möglichkeit seine Anziehsachen zu verstauen fehlt - aber das hat unseren guten Eindruck nicht geschmälert. Ich würde hier jederzeit wieder einchecken, wenn ich das nächste mal auf Holbox bin!

Super Hotel
Das Hotel liegt nahe am Stadtzentrum, dennoch ruhig und in bester Lage direkt am Strand. Die Anlage ist top gepflegt und sauber, die Mitarbeiter freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Zimmer sind groß, sauber und sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Einziger Kritikpunkt wäre evtl, dass es keine Möglichkeit gibt im Hotel zu frühstücken oder generell eine Kleinigkeit zu essen oder trinken zu kaufen. Bars Hbf Restaurants sind aber zu genüge in weniger als 5 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar.

The location, on the Beach is perfect. The rooms are very clean, as are the grounds. The restaurant serving breakfast and all at the beach means you can spend all day on the beach beds, or take an easy walk to town for lunch or dinner. We had a wonderful time on the beach and thoroughly enjoyed dinners and music in the town on evenings . The staff at the hotel and especially the restaurant and beach is extremely helpful. Louis and Andrea do an amazing job keeping the restaurant food and beach area a wonderful daytime experience, as did Edwardo and Marcella making sure we were always happy w drinks, cocktails and smoothies and food. Freddy and Edwin at hotel reception were very helpful regarding room needs or transportation help. We have stayed 2 years now, and the hotel is perfect for us at a reasonable price.

Close enough to all the action of downtown by a 5 min walk, yet secluded and tranquil and quiet grounds when you want to be away from the hustle and bustle . Close to all dining. Absolutely PERFECT beach cove. Staff and rooms are perfect, clean and everyone is accommodating! Have stayed here three times now, once with our kiddo and she loves the pool and all the staff are so friendly with her. Super safe!

Not recommended
Great service!! Reserved and paid ocean view, and was not provided. Wifi was very bad in the room and restaurant. No tv. Air-unit too small. Property is not beach front as advertised there is a road between. The beach area has launches that belong to the hotel “restaurant”and you must consume in order to use them. In my opinion not worth your money.

El hotel lindo y limpio. Me parece q el precio caro para lo que ofrece el hotel, ya que los cuartos no son muy grandes y no tienen closet o míneles. . La comida buena, aunque no siempre había servicio. El desayuno muy rico y los meseros muy amables.

This is a lovely location beachside, with a short 10 minute walk to town for a wide variety of restaurants and bars and even music! The beach is perfect for swimming, and lieing in shaded lounge chairs. You do have to oder drinks and food during time at beach, as the seperate restaurant owns the beach lounges …or u can lay on your towel after swimming. Everything is very clean and well maintained, rooms are comfortable, a little small, and basic , but who spends the daytime in the room? And the price for a beachside room is great. We would definitely return.

Parfait hôtel très bien situé
Nous avons adoré notre chambre avec une magnifique vue et cet hôtel en général. Le déjeuner était copieux et délicieux. La chambre très propre et confortable. La plage est à moins de trente secondes à pied. L’hôtel est près de tout mais tout de même situé dans un endroit plus calme, parfait pour les familles comme la nôtre. Je recommande chaudement.

Ideal for a family stay. More space than any of the other places on this stretch of beach, so the kids could play without bothering anyone. Beach itself was great - self contained and the waves not too big for the little ones shallow water for some distance. Restaurant was nice, but also a short walk to all that the town had to office. Would definitely stay there again.

This place is great. It is close to the center of town but just far enough from it to be nice and quiet. It’s an easy 5 minute walk. It’s clean, the staff was very friendly, and the grounds were impeccably maintained. Nice lounge chairs with permanent shade structures right on the beach. I will stay here again when I return.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff is top notch, especially Freddy in the front office. The wait staff is super nice. We moved to a different more expensive hotel to experience a more remote part of the island. We can say that hands down the staff at Puerto was better trained, more responsive and more experienced. We almost regretted moving. The rooms are perfectly fine, nothing fancy, but whoever designed them thought of important things like two bedside tables, separately controlled reading lights and a very comfortable bed. It’s in an excellent location- close enough to the town to walk to restaurants but far enough to be quiet at night. The beach club is also very chill- no loud pumping music. Lots of lounge chairs in the shade so you can stay all day. The beach is really nice too. If you’re looking for luxury, this isn’t it. But it was very comfortable, clean, and the setting is gorgeous. We would definitely return!

Lo más agradable del hotel son sus jardines. Las habitaciones amplias y cómodas. No tienen tv, pero no es necesaria. Su restaurante tiene un menú sencillo, pero suficiente si no se desea salir del hotel. El único detalle a mejorar son sus toallas de playa, están desgastadas por el uso.

Everything was wonderful. The personnel professional and friendly. Spacious and beautiful. Jose the waitress was very helpful and gave us good tips about the island. We wished we could stay longer!!!

Un peu décevant
La chambre, pour 4, était petite. La salle de bain était rudimentaire, la piscine petite et peu rafraîchissante, l’accueil froid. Un comble de devoir payer son jus d’orange pour un petit déjeuner pourtant compris dans le prix de la chambre. En points positifs : belle plage, restaurant de plage sympa, bel emplacement à la fois au calme et proche des animations.

Love Puerto Holbox
Amazing hotel with easy beach access. We were fortunate to have a great view. They keep all areas well maintained. The staff is awesome. The restaurant exceeded my expectations. Definitely will look into booking here for future trips.

Excellent service from check in to check out. The rooms are very clean. Warm water available every day at all times for showers. The hotel is away from the louder/busy side of the island - so it was very peaceful. Their breakfast chilaquiles were amazing and the Velero restaurant drinks were great! Will be going back for sure.
