The location in downtown San Francisco is generally convenient, but it does seem a bit more run down than some other areas of the city, and it is clear that the effects of the drug use and homelessness epidemic are being felt. "

I understand that more and more hotels are misleading their customers by revealing such charges only in the small print, but customers should reject this trend by avoiding hotels that do it and giving appropriately low ratings when we are fooled into staying at one. If you offer an amazing resort, fine, charge extra for accessing it, but here we're talking about a tiny, subpar exercise room. "

"I only stayed at the King George one night, but the staff there treated me as if I were an old friend. I arrived early and was able to check in without a hassle, and the reception desk offered me my choice of locations. The building is old, but generally well-kept, and my room was very clean and comfortable. There was an in-room coffee maker, safe, other amenities, even a lush terry robe. Overall, I was quite pleased and wouldn't hesitate to recommend the hotel."

"Decor was kinda funky and creepy, definitely gave weird vibes, long dim lightening hallways. My son said it gave cult vibes. There’s no valet, no direct parking lot (you have to use an outside parking lot down the street), no assistance with luggage. Room was clean & modernized."
