Schönes Hotel...leider benötigt man immer ein Taxi
Das Hotel ist klein und sehr sauber, aber leider etwas ab vom Schuss, dementsprechend benötigt man immer ein Taxi oder einen Roller um in die Innenstadt zu kommen. Der Besitzer, Dan, und der Koch, Dan, sind super freundlich, helfen bei jeder Gelegenheit und sind immer für einen Scherz zu haben.

Sehr empfehlenswert
Wir hatten die Suite mit eigener Terrasse. Es war einfach toll. Der Airport in der Nähe hat morgens etwas Krach gemacht, aber das war vertretbar. Die Gastgeber waren sehr nett. Auto und Moped im Hotel buchbar. Nur bei der Bewirtung kamen wir uns etwas abgezockt vor und sind ab 2.Tag in den Mercado Municipal zum Frühstück gefahren.

Tank you for your comments about our Hotel. It was a pleasure serving you during your stay with us. Im sorry that you thought the Breakfast was out of your price range. Starting at $5.75US for an Egg Breakfast, we believe that our prices at Casita de Maya are very competitive, compared to other Hotels. Yes, you can probably get it for a dollar less at the local Market, but does the 6 dollar round trip taxi ride really make it that much more affordable? With us you get you breakfast right here in our dining area, or in your room. We do appreciate your comment and feedback.

This was our first visit to Cozumel and we felt at home right away at Casa de Maya. It was very clean and had a charm not found at big resorts. We loved Chef Daniel's breakfast, which we had 5 out of 7 days we were there and a very delicious dinner made by him. we would definitely stay there again.

Such a gem in a quiet area of Cozumel. It’s right next to the airport but we only heard planes a couple of times. The casita is beautiful and very comfortable. Dan made us feel very welcome and was quite accommodating. His chef Daniel was also very friendly and enjoyable to talk to - and his breakfasts are good local cuisine and reasonably priced. This place truly made our trip to Cozumel special and I would definitely stay again.

Words can’t express how amazing this property and the hospitality is! Dan was a true life saver for us as it was a last minute ordeal and we didn’t know anything about the area. The place was gorgeous and cozy, as were the beds. Beds were super comfy too! Amazing place!!

I have such terrible memory and to be honest this vacation was to just get away from everything. I do not remember the names of the amazing people that work there!! They definitely make you feel like home! I would definitely recommend this place if you travel to Cozumel!!

My mother and I stayed here for a few days on my Christmas break. Absolutely blown away by the utmost level of service. The owner Dan was incredible and extremely friendly. His staff Daniel and Eduardo were very attentive and accommodating. This was the first time we stayed outside of a resort and wouldn’t hesitate to return for our next trip. I highly recommend this establishment for anyone looking for a comfortable stay in Cozumel.

Los cuartos son muy cómodos, la decoración es rústica y muy bonita. La atención del personal es sumamente atenta y amable. Hay agua caliente, la alberca está a temperatura ambiente. Hay desayunos o masajes disponibles si se piden. Está a 5 minutos caminando del aeropuerto, pero a 30 minutos caminando del centro de Cozumel. Wifi disponible. En general un lugar muy cómodo para descansar y dormir. Muy recomendable rentar un auto, una moto o una bici, porque queda relstivamente lejos de los lugares centricos de Cozumel.

This hotel is such a little gem. I wasn't quite sure what to expect as we booked it last minute to stay close to the airport the night before leaving Mexico. However, the family suite for our family of 4 was perfect, extremely comfortable and the owner was extremely helpful and friendly, he got out a floating hoop and my kids had a blast playing basketball on the pool. He then even walked us down to a restaurant for dinner. Location is quite literally across the street from the airport, if we hadn't had so many bags and car seats we could have easily walked. Hope that if we are ever in Cozumel again, we will plan to stay here.

Casita de Maya is a hidden treasure in Cozumel. The hotel may be small, but not small on customer service with helpful staff and a proprietor who communicates well with his staff and connect with customers. Highly recommend and we will be back again!!

Quaint little place to relax
Across from Airport, quaint and relaxing. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Dogs are friendly. Stayed in King Size room, nice size room with mini split AC, TV with Roku, closet with hangars, sink with soap, shower with towels and soap. Beach towels available. Outside door a table with chairs to enjoy meals outside under the palapa. Can order food on site. We rented a car instead of dealing with taxis and parked on-site. We would stay here again.

When visiting Cozumel, this is the place you have to stay. The hotel is very small and peaceful, but you still have your privacy. It is built and decorated beautifully. The staff and owner are incredibly friendly and helpful. I would feel extremely comfortable traveling here alone as a young woman. The chef is excellent and cares a lot about what he is serving you. The bed was super comfortable, great water pressure/temperature, and great AC. The TV comes with a Roku so we were able to relax in the evenings and watch our favorite shows. The neighborhood is very safe and cute. It’s not in the heart of downtown, but we preferred that. You can walk or rent a scooter. It’s also a five minute walk (tops) from the airport, but it’s not a very busy airport so it wasn’t loud or an inconvenience. 10/10 we will definitely being staying here again!

Loved our 3-night stay here! Close to the airport-we walked. Daniel is a wonderful cook, and we especially enjoyed his fajitas and all the delicious seasoned veggies and rice. He is a kind soul with a wonderful sense of humor! Dan, the owner, is friendly as well, and he helped us in myriad ways as we mapped out our plans each day. Our room opened up to the courtyard and small pool area, which we loved. Just 7 rooms here but 3 floors. We felt safe, cool, and comfortable. Grateful for all their help and kindness! We hope to return!

I just needed a place close to the airport for one night after returning my rental car. It was in a pretty quiet area and close enough to walk to the ocean front or into town too. I think I might’ve been the only occupant that night, so I was able to have the pool all to myself after checkout. The chef was out of town, so didn’t try the food or breakfast…but do try Diego’s tacos 1 block away. Very good! Room was clean, bed very comfortable, nice older hacienda style rooms and building. Ceiling fan cooled the room but A/C also available. Good place to stay when you need to be close to airport.

I couldn't have been treated with more kindness. I was fortunate enough to, for the most part, be the sole guest just before the season begins (Nov.1). Thus, I got to know Dan, Daniel, Eduardo, and Jolie on a personal level. We are now amigos, as I've decided to stay and live in Cozumel. I've met their their families, been taken to cantinas and family-owned restaurants, and feel like I've found a center. None of this would have been possible w/o the people at Casita de Maya. I will always be grateful for the experience and the positive changes in my life.

I stayed at this guest house during my Ironman 70.3 race. It is walking distance from the airport and about one mile from the convention center. I walked to the downtown area a few times. The employees and owner are helpful in any way they can. I did have an issue with the tv because it was making a humming noise after being on for a short while, and it didn’t get resolved. I imagine it’ll be replaced in the mear future? Anyhow. They do offer laundry service, chef Daniel will prepare any meal for you at any time you wish to eat, and they’ll flag a can for you if you need one. The pool is really the only amenity there, and it’s quite nice. If you forget your mosquito repellent, they’ll kindly spray you until you get your own. Overall, if you want to be closer to the ocean or the downtown area, this may not be the place for you. But if you’re looking for a clean, peaceful place to stay, you’ll definitely enjoy your stay here.

The TV was working properly throughout your entire stay. The issue was the Roku App (Netflix) that you were using malfunctioned, not the TV itself. We advised you to that minor detail when the issue was brought up to us. If the TV was the issue, we would have replaced it immediately. Thank you for the review.

This adorable boutique is literally right across the street from the airport, walking distance, no shuttle needed. Our flight got delayed from 6 pm until 8 am the next day and we were able to get adjoining rooms for our group of 5. They were so welcoming and even fixed my two teenage sons food at 10 at night. We are very grateful for the hospitality shown to us at a very stressful time! Rooms were clean and well kept and the pool area was super cute and would be a fun place to hang out and visit had we been their longer. The ac units worked well and we had a great nights sleep. Thanks again!

Es un lugar lindo, muy limpio y decorado con buen gusto. La atención de Lalo, el encargado, es excelente. Está pendiente de que todo esté bien. Regresaríamos sin duda.

This was without question the best place we've ever stayed. The people were like family and they treated us like family. Danial, a local resident cooked our breakfast every morning and dinner every night and brought it to our patio with a smile. It is the only place my wife and I will stay from now on when in Cozumel. Whoever took this picture was standing just outside our room where we had our special meals every day. To top it off, you can walk to the airport as it is just across the street sit in a nice neighborhood. Dan and his staff were magnificent and they treat their guests like royalty.

We stay here yearly and enjoy it each time. The staff are outstanding, the atmosphere is catered to your desire. It's a short walk from the airport so no hassle with transfers. When leaving you can check in your luggage and come back for a nice breakfast before leaving. The onsite cook Daniel will cook whatever you desire and does an awesome job. I can't say enough good things about this hotel. If you are an experienced Cozumel traveler you must stay here vs an AI. The price is right, the place is right and the staff are dynamite!
