I would like to elaborate on our very unfortunate experience at the property.
Air Conditioning:
The first room we checked into had air conditioning issues where the temp in the room was 80 degrees and did not go lower. After three attempts to fix this in two days, I insisted that we move to another room. The resort made us wait without a room for six hours before we were allowed to use the second room. In the second room, the air conditioner did not function again. Again they attempted three times to fix this second room and we had to insist on another third room. In this case the temperature in the room was over 80 degrees. For three out of 5 nights we could not sleep because of the heat on the room. Finally the third room has sufficient air conditioning.
Restaurants:
It was impossible to make reservations for restaurants on the first night. Restaurants were small and always fully booked. The only other option was the cafeteria where the food was substandard at best. The premium lounge breakfast was the only place we could enjoy a meal. Even with premium accommodation drinks were watered down, wine was the cheapest money could buy, and there was only one beer selection. Nor right for premium guests.
Our assigned butler Lory was great. She tried to help, but I could see management did not care about premium customers. She tried to make things more pleasant, but management prevented her attempts for help.
The beach was riddled with seaweed. Lots more and no space.
