The property was kept very well groomed. The dining options were excellent. The staff were polite and always helpful. I have travelled extensively and have never encountered aggression with trying to get my future business as I did on this visit. The salesman actually commandered my luggage tags and said he would take care of it. After realizing that I was not going to buy a membership he had to chase us down to return the luggage tags which I felt were held hostage. It was not a pleasant introduction to the property. He basically wasted the first hour of my time at The Grand when an impression could have been made more positive. I belong to both Disney and Sandals and neither have been so oblivious to the fact I was on holiday and wanted to see the property not hear a salespitch. On a very positive note the fitness center is superb. The beach was not ideal due to sargassum so working out became a part of my visit. Again on leaving there was another aggressive young salesman and all this achieved was leaving me with a negative impression. There are so many positive things about the three resorts that it is sad to find this impression is one that lingers.
