Safe, quiet, and affordable--good for families
We stayed here for a week in June 2018. Apartment is clean with the basic amenities you need. The kitchen could use a couple more pots or pans to facilitate cooking a family meal but otherwise it has pretty much all that you would need (microwave, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, fridge/freezer, ice trays, dishes, cutlery, etc.) to eat meals in. Linens are provided and the in-unit washer-dryer is a handy convenience, especially for families. Bathrooms include tubs with showers. Wi-Fi worked well. TV is large, channels are limited. Host was responsive to all questions during and after booking. He was also very friendly in person and met us at the apartment when we arrived to walk us through everything, showed us the parking space, pointed us towards the grocery store, etc. which was nice. Building is very secure, with private garage parking. Apartment is on ground floor and convenient to the building entrance which was nice for us as I was traveling with my elderly parents and daughter who is in a wheelchair. Parking was equally convenient, located right off the elevator lobby under the building (also great for bad weather or winter). The location is rather far out from downtown Toronto (hence, more affordable). We had our own vehicle so didn't try to get there by public transportation so I can't report on that. Very close to Woodbine racetrack (if that's your thing) and a shopping mall with indoor kiddie amusement park (great for families with young kids). We enjoyed it and the staff was great in providing access for my disabled daughter on most of the rides. Apartment has a small balcony with table and chairs, overlooking the tennis court. The pool was being repaired while we where there so we didn't get to experience that but it shouldn't be an issue for future visitors. Overall we found this to be a nice, quiet, family-friendly place to stay.
