Service

Exceptionally good service. The owners and staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. The breakfast was good with really nice homemade jam! The evening meal was excellent and we enjoyed the wine from the hotel cellar. Views from our room and the terrace restaurant were spectacular. We would definitely highly recommend .

Otrolig utsökt i ett romantiskt Ravello

Otrolig utsikt från rummet. En mysig restaurang med härlig utsikt finns på hotellet. Läget i Ravello är jättebra, lugn och ro men nära nog (5 min) till huvudtorget. Hit kommer vi gärna igen!

beautifull ravello

I have mixed feelings about this hotel. Our room was big with a bath( but with a hand held shower and NO shower curtain).We're considerate therefore after shower I was wiping the floor as the water was going everywhere. No A/C in the room, but a massive fan which was too noisy to put on in the night. We tried to sleep with the windows open but again, noise from the street which was right underneath us, so we ended up with 29C in the room at night. On the plus side, the room was very clean and big, the bed was as well big and very comfy. My husband ask for more soap at reception and the lady was at the door in less than a minute.The 3 brothers and staff were really fantastic in making you feel welcome. Location of the hotel is right in the centre of Ravello,only 4 minute walk from the main square. I would go there again but when the weather is a bitt cooler outside....spring or autumn.

Charming Hotel (Il cielo sulla terra)

Parisfal is a charming hotel set in an amazing setting. The amazing views from the garden, dinner patio, and (some of) the rooms are what Ravello is all about. The staff is incredibly accommodating, dotes on its guests, and goes the extra step to satisfy its customers. The amenities are not as great as some other hotels in the area (e.g. our room had no A/C), but the value is great. (The "top notch" hotels in the area can be $1k per night). I highly recommend.

Great location, great service and friendly atmosph

We, like most people, loved Ravello, and the stay at Hotel Parsifal enhanced our experience. The family who run the hotel are caring, professional and very helpful. The position of the hotel is amazing with wonderful views.Thanks Antonio and Leonardo!!

Perfect

We loved Hotel Parsifal. When we walked into the courtyard and saw the view of Minori below us, I literally cried. It was breathtaking. The staff were lovely and helpful both with walking directions, extra umbrellas, and allowing us to extend our stay. They even directed us to a hotel in Amalfi where we were allowed to leave our bags for the afternoon while we waiting for our bus back to Salerno. We cannot wait to go back.

Great Value

I had a particularly nice room overlooking the sea. When you reserve, be sure to ask for one of the deluxe rooms. The staff really goes out of their way to provide whatever you want. This is without question the best value in Ravello. The other hotels are VERY expensive and if you get a deluxe room, this one is just as good in terms of view and comfort.

Beautiful setting, clean, staff very accommodating

Ravello is a beautiful town and this hotel has an incredible view. The rooms aren't as panoramic and are a bit old and as in most European hotels, the bathrooms are small, and the bed was very hard. However, there is a certain charm to it and I would recommend this hotel for a night, maybe two, but if you are going to make this town a base for the Amalfi coast for an extended period of time, you may want to consider other options. The staff is very helpful and friendly and gave us great suggestions on how to best tour the town. It's about a 5 minute walk to the center of town.

Great location, excellent staff

We stayed here for one night at the end of our holiday and were very reluctant to leave! We had booked a room with a garden view but on arrival were upgraded to a room with a wonderful private terrace and amazing sea views. Our room was spotlessly clean and the staff were extremely helpful. The hotel is close to the centre of town and car parking was taken care of for us - we simply left the car outside the hotel. There is a pretty little garden and a dining room with breathtaking views along the coast. Highly recommended!

Hotellet är verkligen "good value for money". Enkel standard men mycket bra service, glad och vänlig personal och strålande utsikt över Amalfikusten från restaurangen på verandan. Vi hade samma utsikt från vårt rum, så vi njöt i fulla drag.

Friendly....and with a wonderful view

Everything said about this hotel is true. The brothers who run it are super friendly. Ravello is a lovely calm place to stay above the bustle of the Amalfi Coast. The breakfast buffet had plenty of choice. Though there have been some previous comments about small rooms, can I recommend room 26, which is about as small a room as you could fit a bed in....but which has a wonderful balcony overlooking the whole coastline to the east, some 2000 ft below. Waking up to this wonderful view (facing the rising sun, and....if there had been one, which alas there wasn't....the full moon) was worth the money all on its own. For those whose rooms do not have a balcony, the hotel has a wonderful terrace with the same view, and the breakfast room and restaurant terrace face the same way too.

Didn't want to leave...

We stayed at the Hotel Parsifal for our last night on the Amalfi coast and we have now found our next holiday destination! We arrived by bus and asked at the tourist information office in Ravello for directions. They gave us a useful map. Ten minutes later we found the hotel with no problems. From the moment we arrived we were stunned by the views from the terrace. We had the warmest welcome from the gentleman on reception and knew that we would have a lovely stay. The old convent building had a very peaceful atmosphere and it's the ideal place for a relaxing getaway. The view from our bedroom was the best I've ever seen from a hotel room - we found it very hard to tear ourselves away from it! We chose to eat in the restaurant and it was really delicious and great value for money. We chose pasta and grilled local fish and chicken. All were very tasty and the homemade bread was a particular highlight. The breakfast was also excellent with a fantastic selection of cereals. We had a bit of a rush in the morning to catch a local bus and the other gentleman who worked there was superb and checked us out very quickly and efficiently. Overall I think this was a warm friendly hotel with views to die for. We are already planning our next visit! Ravello is a lovely little town. There isn't much more there than the two villa's to visit (which I would highly recommend) but if you are looking for a slice of relaxing Italy with unbelievable views this is the place for you.

Badly In Need of Updating but Staff is Great

This hotel is located about 7 blocks from the main square (helps to work off breakfast). The hotel is in serious need of updating, painting, etc. We saw some new mattresses being brought in when we were leaving. This is good because ours was very hard. While not the best place to stay for these reasons, the bright spots were: budget cost, safe, a lovely view from the dining area out a full glass window and a wonderful staff. We were two female friends traveling and they went out of their way to be helpful. If they updated it, I would recommend.

Gem of a hotel in Ravello

Small hotel in a convent built in 1188 with stunning view of Amalfi coast looking south, beautiful gardens and a terrace to have drinks or dinner on. Friendly helpful staff, superb restaurant and short walk to the main square in Ravello.

Fenomenal utsikt - men litet slitet

Rummet på Hotel Parsifal hade en helt fantastisk utsikt över bergen, byarna och Medelhavet. Betjäningen var professionell och tillmötesgående, men däremot känns hotellet som sådant inte helt i toppskick utan att vara direkt slitet. Totalintrycket är hur som helst mycket positivt!

O Hotel é um antigo convento, com pessoal muito simpático e empenhados em atender bem, sempre solícitos e agradáveis, um bom café da manhã. No nosso apartamento não havia internet, porém nos locais do átrio conseguia-se usa-la.

Hotel Parsifal in Ravello, IT (near Amalfi)

This family administrated hotel has spectacular views of Minori and Maiori. The hotel is very cozy, very clean, room has very decent size compared to others I stayed during our trip. The decoration is not the latest, but that is not something I care too much about. Everything is organized, presentable and clean. The price we paid is extremely reasonable. Dinner is excellent and breakfast is ok. Toni is passionate about customer care, very friendly, always available to assist, and go above and beyond expectations. I recommend this hotel and would stay again if have the opportunity in the future. Ravello is a very charming small town where Villa Cimbrone is a must see. Thanks Parsifal for having us there!
