We stayed for one week in May's Villa in Feb 2019. This is our third trip to the island. The first time we stayed in a hotel room, the second time we rented a cottage on a property that had 6 cottages on one property, and this time we stayed in May's Villa. We are a family of 6, with 4 young children, ages 7, 5, 3, and 1. We also brought a babysitter with us, so a total of 7 stayed at the villa. In addition to the 4 bedrooms, the house has a sitting area outside the master bedroom, so my 3 year old "had her own room." She didn't mind that people had to walk through it to get to the bathroom. This was an unexpected surprise. Two rooms had very large walk in closets, so we were able to use the closet in the master as a dedicated space for the one year old.
The house had everything we needed -- fully equipped kitchen, enough towels for everyone, washer and dryer, cooler, hammock, and tire swing. My 5 year old son loved the tire swing and enjoyed petting the dogs. There were 4 dogs that were routinely in the yard. They were the favorite part of his trip. If you are a light sleeper, ear plugs might be helpful because at times the dogs were noisy. We consider it part of the charm of the island.
Because the island is so small, the location was convenient enough for us. The price is unbeatable for such a large group and the lay out was great for our family. We appreciated Trina and her mother's help in having such a wonderful vacation.
