„Stunning house with beautiful views of the harbour/marina. Fabulous location. Just a short walk into the town with an eclectic mix of quaint shops. The house provided everything you could need and more. A few things needed more attention when being cleaned and a fresh lick of paint wouldn’t go a miss but this certainly wouldn’t put me off returning. We will definitely stay here again. Fabulous house.“

„The location is ideal for visiting Harrogate, only a short walk into the city. We were at a conference in Harrogate so were out all day but retuning to this house was perfect. We loved the hotel touches such as fresh clean towels and toiletries! The interior was styled so lovely and bright, and it was great to have a supply of tea and coffee in the cupboard for when we arrived. „We visited for the May Bank holiday. Excellent large property for our group of 23 (including 13 kids aged 5-15). Fun games room and large kitchen in red barn for gathering together for meals. Everything we needed was provided. Situated in a lovely village (with a well-stocked, independent village shop) with many beautiful places to visit nearby (we went to Fountains Abbey on a lovely sunny day).“

„We really enjoyed this cosy cottage, nicely furnished, kitchen etc well-equipped. There is, however, an odour issue, especially in the small bedroom and the living-room, probably due to mould. Place needs to be aired frequently. Still, a good choice.“

„This "comfortable cottage" is actually a row house with minimal amenities. It was very clean, although having an extra mattress leaning against the wall in the smallest bedroom made at least that room feel cluttered and cramped. The comfort factor was also decreased by the lack of any trash cans on the second floor, including in the bathroom. „We had a brilliant stay at this idyllic working farm. Christine was an excellent host, contacting us directly when the property was ready early, providing eggs, milk and a delicious cake (much appreciated after a long drive) and giving us tips for the area. The house is exactly as seen and described. We visited as a family of 6 (3 generations) and there was plenty of space for relaxation, the kids to play and for us to all come together to eat inside and out. „The property was extremely comfortable in a quiet rural setting. Kate, the host, was friendly and very helpful. On the Malton to Pickering road there was a McDonalds, Starbucks, petrol station with a Star shop for essentials. This was about 2 miles away and supermarkets about 5 miles from the property in Malton. The property was very convenient for visiting the market towns of Helmsley, Kirbymoorside, Pickering and Malton. The coast is about 45 minutes away. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the ...
