„Clean, warm and comfortable, easy parking. Disappointed that the 'private' bathroom was not en-suite but outside the room and along the corridor.“

„The cottage was perfectly for us, beautifully appointed, spotlessly clean, with everything you may need for a stay away from home, from a picnic bag to a slow cooker. The location is perfect.Walking distance to the park and ride for Whitby and a great restaurant and pub across the road. We also took advantage of the lovely bridal paths for walks in the countryside. Jenny the host was very responsive. I would definitely recommend“

„The house was everything we hoped for and more. The decor is spot on and there can't be many houses in Whitby with a better vista. The only thing I would say though is that it is very difficult to load and unload...Church St car park was packed so we had to use the Abbey car park which is a gruelling up/downhill slog for the less fit/able. Be prepared to travel very light as you can't get close to the property with a car. Having said that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return.“

„This place is spot on for a little retreat away from the bustle of nearby towns. The host is really lovely and accommodating. We had an issue with hot water that she resolved immediately. There’s lovely little touches like some welcome snacks. Honestly excellent value as well, you’d definitely not complain even if prices were higher given quality of the stay. “

„The property was in an amazing location just a short walk from the centre of Whitby. A very substantial spacious holiday let. The interior was modern clean and fresh with great amenities. The whole booking experience with VRBO was smooth and simple with good communication from the owner. I would definitely recommend this property for either a long or short sray.“

„We had a great time at Postgate Barn. The barn is refurbished with plenty of work and a lot of love to a realy cozy and lovely location. It´s wonderfully quiet and it takes only a few steps into the moor. The accomodation includes everything for the stay, even everything for the first cuppa tea or coffee. Thanks for Mark an Moya for giving us a warm welcome. All of us enjoyed the time (even the teenagers due to technical equipment) and we hope to return sometime.“

„The house was big and there where plenty of room for the 6 of us. The bedrooms were fine, and there were toys if you had children. It would have been nice with soap in both bathrooms, and enough toiletpaper. It is nice if those things are OK when you arrive. We would like a proper cloth in the kitchen to wipe the table. We could not use the iron. It is sticky and dirty“

„This property was an amazing location and wr did enjoy our stay immensely. But minor niggles - the blurb quoted a giant cleaning charge but the property didn't reflect marvellous standards (cobwebs and dust , grout in bathrooms mouldy ) the cutlery and kitchen equipment were poor quality. Also main bathroom on top floor was awkward but we should have realised this . Not much storage for clothes in bedrooms. I'd still book again though . Lovely house and views .“

„Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet und sehr gut gelegen. Zum Hafen sind es knapp 10 Minuten zu Fuß. Einkaufen kann man am Bahnhof. Die Zimmer sind sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Wir (Familie, zu viert) haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin ist sehr gut gewesen. Sie ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.“
