„Es gab sehr reichliches, gutes Frühstück nach typisch englischer Art. In der Dusche funktionierte leider das kalte Wasser nicht, so dass man nicht duschen konnte. Denn das heiße Wasser allein war viel zu heiß. Das Fenster klemmte, so dass man es schlecht öffnen konnte.“

„Great place, delicious food and excellent location.“

„Me and my partner Ross stayed at The Cornmill last saturday and we both had a pleasent experience, Karen is very welcoming & accomodating and all round a lovely person. The room we stayed in was immaculate aswell and to top it all off, breakfast was absolutely superb! It's a 10/10 from both of us, we would highly recommend and we do plan on coming back in the future. Thank you so much“

„By the booking, I asked for a room upgrade if possible with no response. Upon arrival, I asked again and there was a possibility to upgrade but only our last night. AND that we had luck as the new room wasn't affected by the more expensive weekend rate, there would be no extra charges for the upgrade. At check-out we were presented with a new upgraded invoice! I did complain, and the noise did stop after some time, but it took a significant amount of time to get to sleep even after that. The pillows were also not to our preference, being extremely soft, but we didn’t raise this with staff (as we only stayed one night) so we don’t know if there were any ...

„Clean & comfortable space. Helpful proprietor. Excellent breakfast! Location was great for our travel (1 mile from local train station.)“

„Room was totally fine. Bed was comfy. Given tea and coffee. I brought my own little lamp as the only light is the main one. Toilets and shower are external and pretty run of the mill. Nice selection of beers and ales in the pub. Breakfast was nice“

„Had a lovely 2 night stay, beautiful little B&B, close enough to Richmond whilst also still being in the countryside. Owners were friendly, welcoming and helpful. Room was lovely, even had a little fridge and microwave. We had a breakfast both mornings, whilst watching all the birds and a couple of woodpeckers out in the garden. We would definitely stop here again.“

„This countryside property just outside Thirsk is easy to find and offers a wonderful, peaceful retreat. The room was spotlessly clean, featuring a great shower, huge plush towels, bathrobes, and slippers. Having access to a pool and hot tub was a fantastic bonus. The owner, Sue, was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious and home-cooked, full english breakfast as well as lighter options like smoked salmon and scrambled eggs alongside fresh fruit, yoghurt, and cereals. Highly ...
