This three-story log home, set in a gated community, provides plenty of room for everyone to spread out and relax. With an open layout perfect for family bonding, the home features a custom-designed kitchen, roll-under dining table, and accessible design throughout. Thoughtfully planned with mobility-challenged guests in mind, this home includes handrails, benches, and accessible access to the front door, bedrooms, kitchen, and four bathrooms.

Take the elevator to the basement for continued fun in the game room, unwind in the lounge area, or fix a drink at the wet bar before challenging friends to a game of billiards. The younger guests haven’t been forgotten either, with age-appropriate games included to ensure everyone feels welcome.

After a day full of adventure, there's no better way to wind down than with a relaxing soak in the all-season hot tub, enjoying the view from the porch swing, or gathering around the firepit for a perfect end to the day.

A queen-size sofa bed in the basement provides an additional sleeping option.
4x4 vehicle required in winter.
Guests must provide firewood for the firepit.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 6 vehicles.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Property was very well-maintained and clean. Listing was accurate and all amenities worked as described. Only minor complaint was the grass around the property was a bit too high which made outdoor activities slightly inconvenient, but not bad.

Curb-Free Chalet is great, but with one flaw in terms of accessibility

This is a great house and our family really appreciates the features that made it very accessible to my wife (who is 85 and has Parkinson's Disease). This was a great choice for getting together with our children and grandchildren. It made for a perfect 4 night family reunion with lots of group meals and outdoor activities. We love the ease of getting my wife in and out of the house by wheelchair, moving around the house, excellent shower installation and grab bars in the bathrooms, the door openings in and out of the bathrooms, plus the elevator. The one thing that really failed in terms of disability access was the height of the bed in the master bedroom. The bed was far too high for her to make a simple transfer from the wheel chair. The ADA guidelines call for beds to be 20 to 23 inches high. We did not measure the bed height but we are sure that it was well above 27 inches. Our bed at home is 23. If the owner of this house is building other units I really urge them to swap out these beds to a regular unit and install ADA appropriate beds here. Every transfer in and out of the bed was a major struggle. Again, we think it is a great house and are so pleased at the efforts to made it work for the handicapped, but the bed height was a glaring error. Thanks for asking our opinion,

Beautiful house in great area but house had bed bugs

We only stayed two nights but when we left several members of my group left covered in bed bug bites. During the booking process and after our trip it took days to get a response from owners/property management company via the app or email. We realized that several people were covered in bed bug bites the night after we left since we all live in different states and since we were only at the house two nights. We contacted the property management/owners but were told there’s nothing they can do since we contacted them after we checked out. Beautiful house and trip that was runnier by bed bugs and just general cleanliness issues and lack of response/assistance from owner

Quiet retreat

This home was very roomy and easily accommodated our group. Our original number was eleven but only eight were able to attend which allowed almost everyone to have her own bed and bath! There was a big ant problem in the kitchen but also seen in an upstairs bathroom. We had to throw away many of our groceries due to the ant situation. Upon our arrival, we were not able to turn on the fireplace and were not able to change television stations. We made several calls to the management company and were not able to get any answers. We finally got a response to a text about the fireplace but found that the instructions given didn’t match the fireplace we had. There were no keys, controllers, switches, or buttons that were referred in the instructions given to us. We were told that someone would get back to us, but no one did. After getting no help about the television not working in the living room, we discovered the batteries were dead in the remotes. I sent texts and pictures about the ant infestation but got no response. I felt the responses I received over the phone were rehearsed and scripted and not helpful. Responses to my texts were better but still not helpful.

Beautiful home

Photos make the living area look larger but it is beautiful. Comfortable beds with nice bedding. Kitchen is well stocked. Cons: The temperature in the 2 bedrooms on lower levels was very cold compared to the rest of the home. 10 AM check out is too early.
