Dieses Hotel ist einzigartig weil es unter der Erde ist. Das Zimmer ist klein , bis auf Ablageflächen hat man aber alles was man braucht. Das größte Minus ist das man sich eine App herunterladen muss, da man ansonsten keinen Zimmer Schlüssel hat.

Die Unterkunft ist sehe gut gelegen, wenn man viele der Sehenswürdigkeiten von London betrachten will. Die Zimmer sind zwar recht klein (also für lange Ferien, mit grossen Koffern weniger geeignet), aber für einen kurzen Städtetrip ist es perfekt. Reicht völlig, wenn man nur darin duscht & schläft. Meiner Meinung nach war es auch recht ruhig. Die Toilettenspühlungen sind zwar eher laut, aber dies hat mich nie gestört. Gelegentlich hört man die U-Bahn vorbeidüsen, aber auch dies störte nicht. Es gibt gratis Wifi, Steckdosen & die Zimmer werden mit einer App am Handy geöffnet, so muss man nicht Angst haben, dass man die Zimmerkarte verliert. Der Zimmerservice war teilweise ein bisschen fragwürdig. Aber als wir dies am Ende des Aufenthaltes ansprachen, stiessen wir auf sehr angenehme Reaktionen. Die Unterkunft ist sehr neu - insofern darf man für solche Sachen auch noch Verständnis haben. Wir würden wieder kommen!

Das Hotel ist mega, wirklich sehr gute Lage U-Bahn und Bus sind 1-2 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen und man kommt überall hin. Das Hotel ist sehr ruhig und sehr gut gelegen die Busse und Bahnen fahren 24 std. Was uns nicht gefallen hat : die Zimmer sind recht klein , es gibt keine Nachtschränke und keine schränke das heißt der Koffer liegt auf dem Boden! Overall geben dir den Hotel Eine 8 von 10!!

Wer schon mal in einem umgebauten Minivan übernachtet hat sollte mit den sehr kleinen Zimmern kein Problem haben. Der Unterschied zu einem Minivan? Ein Minivan hat Fenster. The checkin/out were easy and quick. If are early and want to store your luggage you will be charged 10 pounds per bag. If you want to get into a room early it will be 30 pounds. We had a room for two and only got 1 towel EVERY day. We talked to the reception two times and got a second towel, but the next day these two were collected and only one new put in the room. The trashbin was never during our 5 nights stay. Depending on your room the Underground can be loud passing by every few minutes. Since there are no windows in an underground hotel the air conditioner had(?) to be running all the time directly placed above the heads in bed. The panel to change setting of the air conditioner did not allow any changes except the strength of airblow. The toilets are very loud like airplane toilets so you cannot use it in the night without waking up everyone in the room.

Extra Gebühren für jede Kleinigkeiten erforderlich bspw. Föhn leihen, Check In 60 Minuten vor der vorgegebenen Check In Zeit. Die Zimmer bestehen lediglich aus drm Bett und dem Bad ohne Tisch oder sonstige Ablagefläche. Für 2 Personen mit 2 Koffern kaum Platz sich im Zimmer aufzuhalten. Allerdings war die Lage für einen Städtetrip perfekt.

We are sorry we did not hit the mark this time, and we apologize for any inconvenience caused. Our check-in time is set at 3:00 PM to allow our dedicated staff enough time to prepare the rooms to the highest standards for our guests. Additional time and effort is put in by our Zedwell family to accommodate early check-ins so an additional charge is added to compensate them. Our fee also aligns with other London hotels.

We loved the hotel. The minimalist room worked great for us on a night before a flight. There shouldn’t be a fee for everything. Never in my life would I rent a hair dryer. It seems they just don’t want to spend to buy one for each room. Not surprised though as our biggest complaint AND EVERYONE ELSE’s is the RIDICULOUS check in at 3pm policy. All the rooms are ready and the staff makes everyone sit in the lobby until 3pm. It’s childish and rude. I started walking to the tablet at 2:58 only for the front desk person to come across the room and ask me to step away from it for another two minutes. Such a shame for an otherwise nice hotel. Please don’t respond saying you’ll review the policy. Not good enough. Actions speak louder than words. Maybe one the reviews stockpile up they’ll notice a decline in bookings. Something needs to happen to change these greedy policies.

there was no hot water the first day and half of my stay. the room consisted of just a bed and bathroom. there was no desk or table to put things on. there was no shelf in the bathroom or shower to put things on. the sink was so small, water would fall everywhere. shower was not enclosed fully, water would splash out all over bathroom floor. they wouldnt let us check in early, even 10 mins early when the room was ready. we asked to hold our luggage when while we go to get lunch & they were going to charge us 15 pounds each bag for 2 hours when we have 4 nights booked with them.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The noise from the underground makes it impossible to sleep even with the complimentary ear plugs provided in the room. The bed was too firm for my liking so the mix of the bed and noise meant I got no sleep during the 3 might stay and ended up leaving to find another hotel that was above ground. There was no hot water in the shower so had to have a cold shower each morning, which to be fair helped to energise me ahead of a day at work with no sleep.

I had an incredible sleep, a really comfy bed, and so dark and peaceful. The staff are great and the rooms are really cool. The one lift is an issue as you can wait to get into a very crowded lift, and every thing costs more money ( leaving bags etc) also the rooms don’t have wardrobes so not ideal for a long stay, but well worth a night or two

The Zedwell is in a great location and has a nice vibe about it. The reception area with Teas and Coffee is nice with great staff. The room was clean and functional, but a bit too basic for me. No storage, just a bed, mirror, toilet sink and shower. For some that's enough, bit I like my little comforts. For an underground hotel, I expected it to be quite, it wasn't. The water works on a pump system that is very noisy and woke me a few times. I kept hearing noises throughout the night (not just the tube). Would I stay hear again? I doubt it, but it was a good experience and I can see how some people like it. The location can't be beat..

Only issue for me in every hotel is the aircon. Always find them too warm and then the quilt has too high a TOG rating. I prefer my rooms to be cooler. So if you can provide this flexibility (thinner quilt and maybe to automatically drop room temperature to 16degC after 1pm would be ideal. Is it possible in the future to be able to control the air con via a hotel app or control nearby to the bed? Most hotels have the controls on a wall away from the bed. Would also be nice to have some pictures in the corridors to the room, this area was a bit too sterile. I will book again.

El problema de este hotel es que es extremadamente ruidoso, los trenes del metro se escuchan prácticamente todo el día y toda la noche. Esto hace muy difícil el descanso. No hay ningún escritorio o mueble más allá de la cama, por lo tanto, debes dejar tus cosas en el suelo tooodo el tiempo. Tampoco tiene una silla (ni espacio para una). La entrada es hasta las 3pm!! Es decir, ni siquiera es un día completo el que pasas ahí porque el check out es demasiado temprano… te cobran mucho por pasar 16hrs en ese agujero subterráneo. Lo peor, desde mi punto de vista es que los colchones están viejos, se sienten los resortes.

It is not confortable at all to stay here. I was mistaken and booked in here instead of the Piccadilly one. Too claustrophobic, it is in -5 levels. There is only 1 elevator and it takes a lot to arrive and a lot of people in que. Super tiny rooms. They don’t clean your room and if you want to leave your bags and luggage at the front desk they charge 15 pounds each bag you leave. Better to spend in a little bit more expensive hotel than this. I do not recommend.

The hotel overall is very clean and at a good location. I guess I didn’t realize that “underground” in the hotel name really meant this hotel is underground. Which was fine until I had to do some work and found that there internet connect isn’t strong in the room. I also couldn’t get a phone signal which meant I could not take work calls, even in the lobby. I had to walk out to the lobby to get a better connection or go outside for a call. Ultimate, I had to switch hotels. This hotel is nice for maybe a stay where you don’t need to be in the room for anything but sleep. I unfortunately had work and could not get a connect or a signal.

I stayed here and as a stay it was not bad, beds were comfy, and it was clean. But one thing I noticed was that it was a bit scammy in the sense of they try to milk you out of every dollar, at every chance they get. - Early check-in was only possible if you paid 60 pounds (unheard of) - leaving your bags for them to watch over since you don’t want to check in early, 15 pounds (also unheard of) - check out is 10 am, other hotels I’ve stayed at in London are the usual 11am - Rooms are very minimalist in style, which is okay and nice but it can be done tastefully. It feels like for this place it was done purely to reduce cost and an excuse not to have to do anything to the rooms in terms of cleaning and maintenance. There’s not even a table or anything in the room to put your things on. No fridge. Nothing. All in all I would say, the place is okay, no complaints on the service of the stuff or the comfort of the stay. Just some thoughts around the business itself
