You liked the photos you saw here?
I did too. Keep reading to know what happened...
I got charged 15 euros more than the price of the room. When I asked for a refund the receptionists were telling me to go talk with the "manager" and the "manager" was telling me to go complain with the website. Nobody took responsibility and I lost the money. I even tried to convert the money they took from me into their breakfast but they were greedy and didn't even want to do that. I RESERVE MY RIGHTS TO SUE THEM!
If the hostel would be like in the photos or description the money they took from me wouldn't be such a big deal, here are some other issues that happened during my stay there:
- There were 4 triple-bunkbeds in the tiny room I stayed. The ceiling is low for triple-bunkbed therefore it was extremely hard to even get to the bed because it is so tiny that you can't even sit straight.
- Staying in the lowest bed facing the end of another bed made me feel like IN A PRISON IN A THIRD WORLD COUNTRY. Even prisons in Europe might be better.
- There were a loud group of teenagers in the hostel being overly noisy even after curfew hours
- Talking about those teenagers, a couple of them were smoking in the room at 0:30 which sounded the fire alarm and woke everybody up. They say that this kind of behavior leads to the person being kicked out of the hostel but since it was a big group they overlooked that. The alarm rang 3 or 4 times that night.
A few other issues are stated below
Gut: I liked the moment I checked-out!
Other issues were guest smoking weed in the front and walking into the common area still smelling, etc
Nicht so gut: Sure! Check better the hostels you allow in your website so that your customers don't get scammed by them.
Lage: The hostel is 2 blocks away from the DLR. Other than that, there is nothing that can be done around.
