Our stay at this hotel was totally alright for a 5 day trip. The room was big enough and I really liked the fact that you can turn off the ventilation and open the window.
I traveled with my sister and we didnt know that the queen size double room comes only with one large blanket on the bed. There was a sofa next to it, which I used. I immediately asked for one more blanket and that wasnt a problem. It was weird that the toilet did not have a brush to clean it by ourselfs and the room service had some odd times to come in. Either early in the morning at around 8, when you're just about to go down for breakfast or get ready for it, or really late around 3pm when you might come back from town to hang out a bit. So we had it cleaned just once, but that was okay, we dont need it super clean every day. The bedsheets and towels sadly kinda smelled odd, a bit like indian food and out of the closet. The breakfast buffet was large and delicious. When there are many people at the same time, you have to wait for some stuff, which I find normal. The staff was really friendly. We could reach the nearest tube station within a 10 minute walk. There are busses in front of the hotel, but it really saves you some pounds when you walk to the tube. Next time we will probably choose a hotel which is nearer to the underground but we can recommend the novotel waterloo for travellers.
