Great Location in Fitzrovia
Forced to choose between 4 and 5 stars I gave it 4 but 4.5 is probably a more fair rating. The pros:- Location is great. 8-10 minutes from multiple underground lines make getting everywhere easy (including Heathrow). Walkable many great locations- The neighborhood itself is packed with great restaurants, coffee shops, pubs- The bed and furnishings are comfortable- There’s plenty of space to spread out. Compared to a hotel room in this neighborhood you get a lot more space for a lower price. - The kitchenette, and particularly having the en suite washer/dryer was a great feature- Two sets of keys. So many VRBO/Airbnb’s will give you a single set to keys which is really inconvenient when two people aren’t attached at the hip. The second set of keys was much appreciated Could be better:- The flat was humid/damp and nothing dried. You could hang towels overnight and they’d still be damp the next morning. Maybe I’m spoiled by AC but this was annoying (so we started using the dryer noted above, but felt a little bad about the energy use). A dehumidifier would be a game changer and make this 10/10. - Check-in was a little rocky. The code provided to pick up the keys didn’t work. The only way to communicate with the host was in-app messaging so we had a mini panic. Luckily Anna got back to us in 30 minutes with a new code that worked so not terrible but not great. At least it was a nice day as we sat outside with our suitcasesOverall, experience was very positive. 9/10
