We can definitely not recommend the villa!
We paid a lot in February 2020 for two people and two weeks. So not exactly little. Our expectations were accordingly - because the Hotel Pimalai next door, which we know from before, is similarly expensive. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. The house is not an idyll. Street and boat noise as well as the smell of rotting garbage and smoke from the village spoil the enjoyment. The property itself is very neglected - e.g. Shortened trees as if they had been hit by a grenade. The branches simply stay there. The terrace offers hardly any shade. There are no umbrellas. The pool water is greenishly cloudy. The house is very large on the outside, but rather disappointingly small on the inside. Tiny bedrooms, small bathrooms, and a blended living room, the rear quarters of which fill an elevated theater stage with a curtain. Another quarter of the living room is reserved for a table tennis table. The mattresses are very hard. All of the furniture is either broken, shabby or very, very cheap, or all together. When we arrived in the kitchen everything was dirty, the kitchen cupboards, the worktop, the oven ... everything was sticky and dirty. We cleaned for 2 hours on the first evening to remove at least the biggest dirt. The cleaning women cleaned the next day, but only what we had specifically criticized. You could have cleaned 2 days in this house without any problems. The kitchen is in very poor condition, almost all the doors of the kitchen cupboards are broken. There was only warm water after 6 days. The back of the kitchen, where the trash cans are, is just ugly. It doesn't even look like this in our basement. Glue all cabinet surfaces, doors, windows and light switches. The bathrooms are dirty, the fittings started. There is at least one old, dirty doormat in every room. The towels are just rags and strictly rationed. The sun lounger pads are very hard and do not match the loungers at all. Blackout in the master bedroom is not possible. All insect screens are defective and have holes. The peculiarities of the house include, in addition to the theater stage and the table tennis table in the living room, a 1 x 1 meter dining table with 8 chairs (however that should work), a huge mattress leaning against the front wall of the living room, covered with a cloth and picture , beer cooler as a bed post coaster, shelf inserts made of chipboard remnants and stacked coins, a dining table outside with only 3 fixed legs, no outside shower + parasols
