Overpriced hostel. I knew going in the space would be shared, but I wasn’t prepared for the lack of basic amenities or the overall condition.
There were no blankets at all. Parking is an additional charge even though it’s just an open lot in front of the house with no gate or security, which doesn’t justify the fee. The quality of the property is very poor: holes in the ceiling, walls covered with printer paper, duct-taped windows, and makeshift walls added to create extra rooms.
The biggest issue was the noise. Because the space is shared and the walls are extremely thin, you can hear everything. The guests next door were very loud, waking up at 1:00 AM to get ready while live streaming. I politely asked them to be quieter and explained I had to be up early. They said they would, but didn’t. I contacted the owner asking them to intervene and got no response. I also asked again about blankets and was told the only ones available were already in the room- which there weren’t. That message was ignored.
Overall, not worth the cost. The room size wasn’t the issue, it was the poor condition and lack of support. You’re at the mercy of other guests, and if they’re disruptive, there’s little recourse. The lack of sleep completely defeated the purpose of booking.
I’ve added photos of everything I have proof of including the listing we booked to compare to what we got.
