Perfect little get-a-way
First and foremost communication with the host was incredible. He was so attentive helpful and friendly every time I needed to talk to him. The townhouse is super cute and super clean. A quick walk from the beach and a quick drive from anything else you could want to do in the area. 10 out of 10 recommend!

The owner verified with us 3 days prior to our stay have us the Code to WIFI's & Door. Tools us about possibly early check in etc. Then 1½ hr before we were stopped to show up not even a phone call, an email from him to tell us that he went sneak and boom the place out the day ahead for the week we had it booked. Not even an apology or an offer or another weekend or discount as it was for my birthday with a closer friend. Nothing other than I'll refund your money. Wow I'm not the 1st or 2nd person.. BEWARE OF THIS OWNER!

We enjoyed our stay in Cocoa Beach. The house has all the amenities you need for a quiet week at the beach/space camp. The location is 15 minutes from KSC and a short walk to the beach and the owner was always easy to reach. Recommended.

Stay that was cancelled day I arrived
I was really disappointed, we arrived and messaged the owner for address and code and as soon as I did that to my surprise I got a notification that he cancelled the reservation due to the owner having Covid. I understand that he is sick, but why did he not notify me when he got sick so I could get another place. This left me and three grandkids in a bind. So instead of having a nice Christmas, we got to spend it in a hotel. Very disappointed.

This was an extremely unfortunate circumstance that was completely out of my control. The guest made this reservation almost a year prior, yet neither she nor VRBO sent me any kind of reminder in advance of her stay. Because of the pandemic I haven’t even been hosting guests in over a year—I even paused my listing on VRBO. Literally she messaged me the day of arrival after landing in the Orlando airport asking for my address. I explained to her that I had JUST started feeling ill the day before and did not know that i had COVID until the morning of her arrival when i got my results. So there was no way that i could have given her more notice anyway. But I immediately issued a full refund without any hesitation or delay. I understand that this put them in a horrible bind, but there was literally nothing else i could have done. VRBO policy and government guidelines prohibited me from leaving my home and/or hosting guests after having tested positive. This also threw off my holiday travel plans as well. As a guest, you should remember that these are not hotel rooms with guaranteed availability—these are peoples’ homes and sometimes things happen. You should communicate with the host in advance of your stay BEFORE landing at the airport on the day of arrival, especially during a pandemic.

Some Questionable things
We enjoyed the unit we stayed in but I think a new cleaning company should be gotten The place was clean BUT we did not expect to find old used dried up soap bars in shower, dirty clothes in washing machine, allot of food in the refrigerator, clothes in the closets or drawers. You could only watch U Tube and we were looking to see local stations and news. I was told the place was disinfected after the last people left. After seeing the things I mentioned I don't believe it was. The back yard was a great place to sit and relaxed. Carroll had a beautiful umbrella out back but the first nigh there was a bad storm and it was toppled over. I notified Carroll and he said he would fix it when he returned. That did not stop us from enjoying being outside. It is a great place to wind down the day and enjoy cocktails and even morning coffee. We just loved the beach. We brought our dog with us and it was great. The only problem we had was it was supposed to be a pet friendly beach but until we took the dog with us the first day we found out otherwise. Dogs could not have a dog on the beach from March through November. So we had to leave her home & this cut our time short at the beach. Carroll was very accommodating. Carroll did put a kennel out for us to use if needed and offered his food and dog food and treats for us to use. But we came very well prepared.

Pleasant stay close to beaches
In town for a tournament and decided we didn’t want to be stuck in one hotel room. Carrol is an excellent host. My kids enjoyed seeing all of the peacocks in the neighborhood and the beach was amazing

This was our second time at this rental. Everything was as it should be. We left a few days early since we were worried about being so far from home. Carroll offered to give us credit for those days the next time we rented his condo. Very generous of him.

Cute, comfortable, and clean!
My husband and I spent most of March at Carroll’s place. My first impression was how clean it was. We’ve stayed in quite a few places and I usually feel I have to clean before unpacking - not here. The rooms are spacious. The kitchen was well equipped. Bed was very comfortable. The outside space in the back is wonderful - great for coffee in the morning or relaxing in the evening. The Canaveral peacocks strolled by the front of the unit every evening. The area has a lot to offer. The beach at Cherie Down Park was great. It is within walking distance but also has a large free parking lot. The port is close with good restaurants for meals - we enjoyed happy hour there watching the cruise ships leave. Carroll, the host, was great to work with. He responded quickly whenever I contacted him. Would stay here again and recommend it to others.

New Year 2019 Vacation
Very nice condo with an enjoyable outdoor/patio setup. Great location; close to the beach; lots to see and do. Close enough to Orlando attractions, but far enough away from Orlando "busy-ness". Condo is more spacious than I expected. The owner is great to work with. We would definitely book this place again!

Very nice property with everything we needed
The owner has done a great job with this townhouse...nicely decorated and well stocked. It was perfect for our needs. The small back yard was really well done, with a fountain, table with umbrella, hammock, and beautiful lighting at night. The area was not "high end", but typical for the island and very quiet, and appeared to consist mostly of families with young children. But again...very quiet. It's several blocks off of the busy main road and about 3 blocks or so from the beach. We will definitely stay there again if visiting the area.

Clean, convenient, charming
We rented this location for a weekend prior to a cruise departure. There was a minor issue prior to our arrival, but the owner was more than accommodating! The location was perfect to take a short walk or drive to the beach and then head to port Canaveral for a scenic dinner each nice. Nicely decorated and perfect for our family!

Great time in a fresh and clean setting
Spent five days here because of a satellite launch and enjoyed it very much. The rooms were light, airy, clean and newly decorated. The private patio in the back was nicely decorated, had a clean gas grill and lots of plants and comfortable furniture. It was only a five minute drive to Cheri Down Park at the ocean and within two miles of a number of very good restaurants (high Yelp ratings). The owner was attentive and helpful when we had questions. We will definitely stay here again next summer when we come back for the next launch,

Twice was just as Nice
The property is as shown, however it has just undergone an updated backyard experience, the unit was upgraded by me personally in the backyard, all arriving now will enjoy a very tropical feel. I am treating the unit like it is my own. It's simply the best value anywhere, the location is exceptional for access to all activities. I have made this my Home Away, I'm sure it will be yours too! The Space Coast Beach Retreat is my go to location for access to all of Florida, enjoy. You can't beat a host like Carroll either, total win win.

Amazing Value Close to the Beach
The property was better than expected, tucked away from the congestion in the area, Everything is as shown and functional. I am in the area frequently, the value can't be beat, in fact I have already booked my next trip. The Host - Carroll is responsive and has made every effort to ensure you have a quality stay. Access is via digital code thus no need for keys or property managers. The beds are new and comfortable, everything you need is in the unit. I give this listing a Big 5 star rating, it's really a 10.

Great Place to Stay
We enjoyed our stay here: The house looks newly remodeled and is nicely decorated, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen is well equipped (appreciated the coffee!) It was so nice to enjoy some drinks on the patio with the string lights, feel the ocean breeze, and listen to the evening calls of the peacocks. (We saw a few of the famous, Canaveral peacocks while we were in town, and got some amazing pictures) The house is walking distance from Cherie Down Park (public beach access, lifeguard, shaded picnic pavilion, restrooms, and parking) and the house has beach chairs to use. The owner was very helpful and responsive to our questions. We would definitely recommend a stay here to explore Cocoa Beach / Canaveral area.

Very convenient locarion and large rooms

Great place to stay, beautiful both inside and out.
Stayed here for a few nights and couldn't ask for a better experience. This residence is conveniently located within a few minutes of many popular destinations in the area. Communication was handled quickly and easily if any questions needed to be addressed. The place itself was very nice, the inside was amazing and it had every amenity we needed. Would certainly stay here again given the chance and would highly recommend this place to others!

Great place!
This was perfect for our 2 night stay! Cheaper than any of the hotels and lots of space! walking distance to a beach or short drive to the pier. Carroll was extremely responsive to any questions regarding our stay. We would definitely come back and recommend.
