First time in Biloxi
This renovated 1920's home is charming and tastefully decorated and furnished. For a mother/daughter vacation, we loved the house, especially coffee and table talk at breakfast in the kitchen to lounging and relaxing in the family room. The beds were comfortable and the linens were high quality. We enjoyed exploring this area of the gulf from Biloxi to Ocean Springs as well as a coastal drive to Bay St. Louis. As other reviews have stated, unlocking and locking the deadbolt is tricky at first. Plus, the key can be persnickety when trying to pull it out of the deadbolt once you've locked/unlocked it. Just be patient. :) We were fortunate to meet the owner as she was in town staying behind us in another of her property's. She is absolutely kind and welcoming and we had a lovely conversation. As far as check-in, my prior experience with other rentals in the past was to pick up a key at the agent office, or a secure box at the agent office if it was after hours. After inquiring to the agent about how to check-in to this property more than once, it wasn't until the day of arrival that we were told we would get an online message with instructions sent at the 3pm check-in time. The keys are in a secure lockbox on the door of the house to which the agent sends you a code. It would have been helpful to be told this was the procedure when the contract was signed, or explained in the property rules. I was worried I had missed something. Just to reiterate, we loved the house and it was perfect for our stay and we would stay here again, without a doubt.
