I would deduct 1 Star for the food, but the overall experience was great so I won't. The Room was perfect, the service outstanding. The Hotel in really good condition. The beach fantastic. We were worried at first, because most positive reviews came from americans, but this hotel can absolutely live up to european standards. The food is difficult. The decision from the hotel not to have a buffet is terrible. The Dinner Restaurants all served really not tasty food. The food experience from all dinner restaurants was bad, so we tried to use the afternoon kitchens which were great and the Room Service, which delivered fantastic food. The Tex Mex Buffet on Thursdays and the breakfast was really good as well. So as I said, usually this could make a bad experience, if you are not flexible, but the hotel was fantastic. The hotel wasn't fully booked oput, so we never had a problem getting a sunbed at the beach, but I can understand, that people are mad, that two thirds of all potential beach space is taken by cabanas that the hotel sells for $85 a day on top. This is a crazy rip off. Agin, we were not affected by this, so no star deduction. In high season this would probably something that we were furious about as well.

Unsere Woche im TRS Yucatan war perfekt. Wir sind nicht die typischen Pauschal-Urlauber, aber nun schon zum zweiten Mal in diesem Hotel - das sagt alles :) Die Anlage ist weitläufig, aber überall fahren kleine Carts, die einen von A nach B bringen, wenn man mal nicht laufen möchte. Das Laufen lohnt sich allerdings auch, denn viele Bereiche sind mit schönen Stegen verbunden. Restaurants: Die Qualität der Speisen war unfassbar. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns das Frühstücksbuffet und das Mittagsbuffet im Helios. Hier besteht die Möglichkeit, à la carte zu bestellen. Unser Tipp: das ist gar nicht notwendig, denn das Buffet ist wirklich außergewöhnlich. Man findet super viele kleine Häppchen, die total niedlich in kleinen Schüsselchen und Pfännchen angerichtet sind. Wahnsinns-Auswahl und tolle Qualität. Wer Wert auf etwas Besonderes legt, ist hier richtig! Was unseren Aufenthalt aber wirklich besonders gemacht hat, war das Personal. Wir reisen sehr viel, haben aber wirklich noch nie ein so unaufdringliches, aber aufrichtig interessiertes und aufmerksames Personal kennengelernt. Das hat den Aufenthalt wirklich einzigartig gemacht. Danke an Emiliano und Enrique, die meinen Mann zu einem Fan von Animation gemacht haben, an Yanet für ihr fröhliches und aufrichtiges Lächeln an jedem Tag,an Yessica, die sich bereits Tag eins unseren Namen gemerkt hat und uns täglich persönlich begrüßt hat.Danke auch edui , Ana und Ingrid - Und nicht zu vergessen unsere Butler Armando, diego&carlos! ❤

The hotel as well as (especially) the staff were extraordinary. The different dining options in the different restaurants, the immensity of the place, the environment, the beach, the helpfulness of the staff, were all fantastic. One thing I would improve: the various evening programs in the adult only part only lasted until 11pm. Being in the part of the hotel where only adults were allowed, the evenings could be extended a little later with maybe different theme evening.
