„The location is great but is up a steep hill or many steps. The street is beautiful, as is the neighbourhood and the bed is comfortable. I’m sure the accommodation was perfect when it was set up but now I think it needs a bit of a retouch as it’s a bit dated. Cleanliness: not ideal. When we arrived there was old food left in the fridge, food stains on the wall and old food left on the scrubbing brush. Furniture: the aim is clearly for a cozy feel but the organisation could be vastly improved. ...

„Wir haben die letzten 3 Tage unseres Urlaubes in Kristiansand verbracht. Die Unterkunft hat uns sehr gefallen. Alles was man so braucht, ist vorhanden. Wir haben uns gleich bei Ankunft ein paar Waffeln gemacht und den Nachmittag genossen. Ein wenig herausfordernd war die etwas schmale Auffahrt für unser Auto (Ioniq5); da mussten wir schon ganz genau zirkeln. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten fürs nötigste sind in der Nähe vorhanden, fussläufig gibt es eine Badestelle an der Otra, die wir auch genutzt haben ...

„Huge amount of stairs to get to property. Bed was not comfortable. When we picked up keys from lock box for the building and apartment, the keys to the apartment did not open the door -- frustrating after a long day of travel and climbing four flights of stairs. The owner did not take responsibility and more or less accused us of not knowing how to use a key. Just saying "I'm sorry for the mistake" would have worked.“

Small enhancements in the finishes could bring this to a higher rating (front door fits poorly so very hard to open, missing screws on interior door handles, etc.).“
