"The hotel was generally ok, but not for a 5 star. It was a good 4 star experience.
The room was too small for 5 stars, we had room to have one baggage without tripping over it - luckily we only needed and brought one. The bathroom is nice, except for the mirror / sink part, that is enclosed in a kind of nook, and you have no room to put any cosmetics - I had difficulty finding a place to put my shaving utensils, I had to put them in the sink, which made for an unpleasant experience.
The cleanliness was not amazing. There was a spider web over the bed, there were hairs here and there. We found some hairs on the bed sheets, very likely from the cleaning personnel, as they were clearly ok and unused. But except for these it was ok, and it was generally clean enough for a 4 star.
The room quality was good, it was clear the owners invested in good quality rooms, furniture, mattress, pillows, we had a good sleep. Too bad they were a bit let down by the cleaning service.
The breakfast was very good, a very wide selection of food, and they had 2 restaurants - one buffet and one a la carte. The buffet had everything from hot items including vegan options, meat, eggs, a wide selection of breads, cheeses, joghurts, cold meats like jamon, fish and so on. And they even had very good deserts from pastries to churros, cakes, fruits. Breakfast was very good. And if you got the right lady as the barista, they were able to accommodate non conventional coffee with a smile."
