„Unterkunft ist sicher einzigartig - man sitzt dadurch auf dem Präsentierteller, da es weit und breit das einzige Boot ist. Die Optik ist wunderbar - leider auch oberflächlich und wenig funktional (zB Fahrräder nicht fahrtauglich, Blumentöpfe bei Regen voll Wasser, auch Kissen). Technik wirkt selbst gebastelt.... die Wasserpumpe ist laut und erfordert Geduld, das beim Duschen, Baden und WC-Gang. „Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit auf dem Hausboot - es ist super zentral gelegen, der Host Thomas kümmert sich sofort bei Fragen und hat uns sogar eine Runde mit dem Boot auf dem Kanal gefahren. Das Bad ist klein mit allem, was man braucht. Die Toilette ist ein Campingklo und die Dusche muss ca. 40 min. Vorheizen. Es ist eine Küche an Bord mit allem, was man so braucht. „This is hands down my favorite VRBO I’ve ever rented. I could live full time in this boat. It’s in the perfect location. The marina is very nice and very safe. Tons of dining choices, close to a couple of grocery stores. You can literally see the tower bridge from the marina. It’s across the road from the Tower of London. The boat itself is very nice. It’s clean. It’s well appointed. The owners are very responsive and easy to work with. I hope to stay there again. Highly recommended!“

„Taggs Island is such an interesting little enclave close to London and unbeknownst to us before. Set in a small inlet off the Thames, the house is one of a group facing onto the water. Linda, the host, has very much personalised it and provides every comfort. Although an expensive add-on, highly recommend the hot tub, which is deep and relaxing. Only down-side to the situation and rather shattering the peace, is being on the Heathrow flightpath, which we hadn't thought about!“
