"We started our tour on the Cleveland Way in Helmsley. After a Long day we got. a room near the kitchen wich was noisy and not really comfortable. All in all was the hotel not the price valid we payed"

"Das Hotel hat eine erstklassige Lage. Die Zimmer mit Meerblick sind klasse. Die Sicht auf‘s Meer ist traumhaft schön. Das Viertel hinten raus ist sehr schlicht und nicht so prickelnd. Man muss ein paar Meter laufen um in schönere Ecken des Ortes zu kommen. Herausragend ist das Personal, alle, wirkliche alle Mitarbeitenden sind super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Auch der Chef des Hauses ist toll, er hat uns bei einem Problemchen schnell geholfen. Das Frühstück im Hotel ist typisch englisch und sehr gut. Die Zimmer sind komfortabel, die Betten gut. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen."

"Horrific! Never Again - Filthy, Run-Down and Rude Staff We booked this hotel for a very special occasion - a wedding - and it turned out to be the biggest mistake of our trip. The moment we walked into the room, we were hit with a musty, dusty smell that made it hard to breathe. The bathroom was filthy, with visible rust and mold. The radiators were covered in thick layers of dust and grime, the furniture was damaged and stained, cobwebs were hanging from the windows, the door frames were chipped and discolored, and the carpets looked like they hadn't been properly cleaned in years. The absolute worst: the bed and pillows were so dusty and dirty that staying in the room for more than a few minutes felt suffocating. For hygiene and health reasons, we had to leave immediately and find another place to stay. And it wasn't just the room - the reception was a disaster too. The staff were rude, dismissive, and outright lied to us. An Expedia representative had confirmed to us over the phone that he spoke directly with the reception. Yet, when we confronted them, they flat-out denied any conversation had taken place. I have never experienced anything like this in all my travels. This hotel is an absolute disgrace in every sense. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone - especially if you care about cleanliness, honesty, or basic hospitality. Bottom line: Avoid at all costs! You'd be better off sleeping on a park bench than in this nightmare of a hotel."

"Wir haben das Hotel als Unterkunft während unserer Wanderung auf dem Cleveland Way genutzt. Positiv aufgefallen ist uns die sehr gepflegte Außenanlage. Im Hotel selbst wird aktuell umgebaut. Uns hat das für unseren Aufenthalt von einer Nacht nicht gestört. Das Zimmer war tadellos, das Restaurant vom Raum sehr schön und das Frühstück überaus reichhaltig. "
