„Liked the hotel, didn't like the fact that the room door wouldn't lock“

„DasRaven Hall Country House Hotel, liegt direkt an der Küste an hohem Kliff und bietet einen wirklich sehr schönen Blick über die Nordsee. Das Interieur des Hausest ist etwas altmodisch, was aber einen gewissen Charm hat.. Leider ist aber auch die Haustechnik ziemlich altmodisch und eigentlich nicht dem heutigen Standard entsprechend. So sollte man sich z.B. nicht daran stören, dass die Wasserleitungen bei Entnahme rattern wie ein vorbeifahrender Zug, Das Hotel-Restaurant ist ganz in Ordnung, ...

„It was a convenient location. It was good to be able to leave the car outside the guest house, and for it to included in the price. My husband and I enjoyed the views from the bedroom window overlooking the bay. However the bedroom was smaller than we expected. The staff and customers were friendly. We expected our 'own' bathroom to be in our bedroom, as opposed to being on the landing next to our bedroom. “

„Compared to other hotels in Scarborough this one is a good choice. A friendly and professional welcome, a nice view, a large room. The downsides are the room is directly situated above the bar & garden which has customers drinking, laughing and yelling till midnight. Food is ok, but not great. The friendly receptionist is also a very good escalation manager and took the parking fee off the bill to make up for the noise.“

„Das Zimmer war klein aber sauber und sehr gemütlich.Schöner Blick aufs Meer, auch vom Bett aus. Frühstück war reichlich und gut. Parken war mit ausgehändigter Parkkarte kostenfrei an der Straße möglich. Bietet kaum ein anderes Hotel. Super Preis- Leistungsverhältnis. Komme gerne wieder.“

„it's a great location, with a marvelous view. right on the sea front, only a few minutes walk from the city centre. check in procedure was fast but very friendly. should have booked parking, but that was my fault. what i like are decent showers, with plenty of water pressure, which often is a real issue in hotels around the uk, no disappointment either. i had a great easter break, thank YOU !“

„Rooms were nice and spacious, bathrooms were clean and came with towels and soap. Bed could have been slightly comfier, service and staff were great and very polite. Pool and Sauna were a very good add on, roof terrace was beautiful and gym was okay. Beautiful interior and nice bar area with entertainment on an evening, really enjoyed it. great value for money. “
