„We spent a long weekend in this lovely beach house with its modern decor and many facilities. It was well placed in the holiday village near to the pub and shop and path to the beach. The path itself was steep in parts but manageable. There is a lovely walk along the beach to Filey. A wondered stay.“

„The cottage was perfectly for us, beautifully appointed, spotlessly clean, with everything you may need for a stay away from home, from a picnic bag to a slow cooker. The location is perfect.Walking distance to the park and ride for Whitby and a great restaurant and pub across the road. We also took advantage of the lovely bridal paths for walks in the countryside. Jenny the host was very responsive. I would definitely recommend“

„The house was everything we hoped for and more. The decor is spot on and there can't be many houses in Whitby with a better vista. The only thing I would say though is that it is very difficult to load and unload...Church St car park was packed so we had to use the Abbey car park which is a gruelling up/downhill slog for the less fit/able. Be prepared to travel very light as you can't get close to the property with a car. Having said that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return.“

„The house was well kept, clean and very well stocked with all the things we needed for making Christmas dinner. The house was brilliantly located for getting to the beach and down into town. Communication with the owner was easy and he always responded. We will be going back. It was great.“

„This place is spot on for a little retreat away from the bustle of nearby towns. The host is really lovely and accommodating. We had an issue with hot water that she resolved immediately. There’s lovely little touches like some welcome snacks. Honestly excellent value as well, you’d definitely not complain even if prices were higher given quality of the stay. “

„We have just had another fantastic stay in Paradise Found. A wonderful well equipped house in the best location at The Bay. Paul is very quick to answer any questions ahead of the stay and there is really no need to contact him during the stay as the house has everything you could need. We’ve visited before and will certainly be back again!“

„The property was in an amazing location just a short walk from the centre of Whitby. A very substantial spacious holiday let. The interior was modern clean and fresh with great amenities. The whole booking experience with VRBO was smooth and simple with good communication from the owner. I would definitely recommend this property for either a long or short sray.“

„We had a great time at Postgate Barn. The barn is refurbished with plenty of work and a lot of love to a realy cozy and lovely location. It´s wonderfully quiet and it takes only a few steps into the moor. The accomodation includes everything for the stay, even everything for the first cuppa tea or coffee. Thanks for Mark an Moya for giving us a warm welcome. All of us enjoyed the time (even the teenagers due to technical equipment) and we hope to return sometime.“

„Wir haben die Tage im wunderschönen Cottage von Laura sehr genossen. Die Unterkunft liegt in Wasser- und Strandnähe im urigen Fischerdorf Staithes und vom Schlaf- sowie Wohnzimmer hat man einen tollen Blick auf den Hafen und das Meer. Morgens wurden wir von den Möwen geweckt, abends haben wir es genossen, am Kamin zu sitzen. Ein toller Aufenthalt in einer sehr schönen und gepflegten Unterkunft. Danke.“

„Die fotos haben das Objekt bei weitem nicht so gut dargestellt wie es tatsächlich aussah, nämlich richtig schön. Wir waren also angenehm überrascht als wir angekommen sind. Alkes war zu unserer Zufriedenheit, bis auf der Staubsauger, der beim saugen sehr nach Hund gerochen hat. Sonst sehr zu empfehlen. Vielen dank an die Vermieterin, Andrea.“

„The cottage was so close to the centre of Filey it made getting around so easy, the cottage was situated on a quiet street so not at all noisy during the day or night. Immaculately clean bedding and towels, everything that was needed was there to use, and added bonus was Sky TV and the seating area outside. The owner Louise went over and above to be helpful Overall a lovely short stay, wish it had been longer.“
