The breakfast was excellent with a good choice of items to order.
The host James was very professional and happy to advise on the area .
Close to the cliff lift to the spa, and we found the area nice for walking around Scarborough.
The public transport links are close by , you can easily leave the car parked and enjoy a driving free break.
We would fully recommend the waves for a short or longer break“

Had a problem with the bedside lamp - she fixed it, injured my knee, she fed me (not for free I hasten to add before scores of people want the same!). „Compared to other hotels in Scarborough this one is a good choice. A friendly and professional welcome, a nice view, a large room. The downsides are the room is directly situated above the bar & garden which has customers drinking, laughing and yelling till midnight. Food is ok, but not great. The friendly receptionist is also a very good escalation manager and took the parking fee off the bill to make up for the noise.“

On going in the Hotel was busy, the 2 staff that where there were very friendly and helpful.
