Communication from all the staff was outstanding during my stay. There is a lift inside the hotel. They also do bar meals. This hotel is a 40 minute walk to Oliver's Mount. I would stop here again “

Had a problem with the bedside lamp - she fixed it, injured my knee, she fed me (not for free I hasten to add before scores of people want the same!). She cooked my breakfast and made sure I was made to feel VERY welcome. Sort of sorry to leave!“

I'd booked a while ago and was a little dubious reading some of the recent reviews.
The hotel has a great location and is as you'd expect a Victorian seaside hotel to be, a little dated but that's part of the charm. The hotel boasts commanding views over the bay and close to the castle.
We had 2 rooms booked, both were spacious, clean and seemed to have new furniture.

Parking was a bit of a problem due to the holiday, but Steven was extremely helpful and went above and beyond by accompanying me to find a space.
