„The room was well appointed, very clean, with a very comfortable bed, The hosts were very thoughtful in having coffee, bottled water, iced tea, soda and juice available in the dining room 24/7. The complimentary continental breakfast was convenient and offered a wide selection of breakfast items including fruit, yogurt, muffins, toast, danish, granola with toppings, instant oatmeal and more. There was a lovely private, comfortable patio area which I definitely enjoyed.“

„This was such a nice house! My son, husband and I stayed here for 3 days. It was great! There were condiments and so much stuff for us to use, which was nice coming from out of state and not wanting to buy all the things that we would just use a little of. The place smelled so clean and fresh! They were great about communication every step of the booking and check in. We plan on coming back with my other family members next time. There was lots of extra room!“

The location is conveniently 20 minutes from the nearest town, but just far enough away that it feels very remote. As of July 2025, many of the main parks in the area are still recovering from Hurricane Helene damage, but that didn't stop us from finding open places to explore, as the Fox Den is nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains. „Place was just as advertised. The neighborhood is off the beaten path but way up in the NC mountains. It was a good 10-15 degrees cooler than down in Atlanta. “

„The cabin itself is beautiful but it needs a deep thorough cleaning. The linens were dirty on one of the beds and another bed had hair on sheets which tells me they were not even changed from the prior guests. Floors, toilets were filthy. We found dead bugs in one of the showers and on many of the window sills. Thankfully there was a washer and dryer available so we could was the bedding. “
