„We ate breakfast every morning on the back deck with our dog, Magnus. Trails galore to walk him on. The ones with rushing water beside them were so calming. After our walks, the hanging chairs on the front porch were a dream to hang out in with a cool drink and my Nintendo Switch. For dinners with a big dog; we were able to eat at the Lake House Restaurant on the lower deck where the boat slips are, at the Highland we were able to walk him through and eat on the back deck, and behind the Tiki ...

„This is an amazing cabin! Very clean! No issues whatsoever. Tucked away with privacy and the tranquility of hearing the stream right beside of the cabin was great! It was close to everything! We will be back!!!!“

„John the host was very good at responding to any problems we had. There were things about the maintenance of the property I feel could need some attention. Location was just what we asked for. Overall a good stay.“

„Spaciousness and view the best things. Amenities were VERY limited, and when some yahoo rode by oou patio on some kind of ATV for an unexplainable reason at 8AM the morning after we arrived- that woke us up. 'Popcorn and a movie' the following night was equally disappointing. Yes, the movie played, but no popcorn offered, and the latte machine near that area didn't work. Staff was friendly and as accomodating as they could be, but this place is still a work in progress.“

„The room was nice. The air conditioning Did not function properly and the room was hot no matter if we tried to adjust the temperature. I believe housekeeping should have notified the manager before renting out this room. Hopefully it will get fixed b/c the rooms are not cheap“

„Such a cool place to stay. 15 minutes off the Blue Ridge Parkway with beautiful Mountain views from the front porch of my cabin. Each cabin has two rooms but if you’re just renting one, they won’t put strangers next door...so you have the place to yourself. Staff was so nice. I didn’t eat meals there but found it very charming that they serve family style and even ring a bell when it’s time to eat. The whole stay was like taking a step back in time in the best way. I’ll definitely be back.“
