The building is quirky but i was so relaxed with my kids cos there was nothing to break/damage. I could smoke on the balcony and no one cared. I will stay here again 100%“

„Schöne, grosse Zimmer, aber sehr bescheidene, fast spartanische Einrichtung. Z.B. keine WC-Bürste(!!!!), kein Kleenex, keine Hygienebeutel, kein body lotion, kein Schrank für Kleider etc. Zimmerservice nur auf Verlangen. Restaurant: gute Auswahl, schön, gepflegt. „Wir haben das Hotel als Unterkunft während unserer Wanderung auf dem Cleveland Way genutzt. Positiv aufgefallen ist uns die sehr gepflegte Außenanlage. Im Hotel selbst wird aktuell umgebaut. Uns hat das für unseren Aufenthalt von einer Nacht nicht gestört. Das Zimmer war tadellos, das Restaurant vom Raum sehr schön und das Frühstück überaus reichhaltig. “

„DasRaven Hall Country House Hotel, liegt direkt an der Küste an hohem Kliff und bietet einen wirklich sehr schönen Blick über die Nordsee. Das Interieur des Hausest ist etwas altmodisch, was aber einen gewissen Charm hat.. Leider ist aber auch die Haustechnik ziemlich altmodisch und eigentlich nicht dem heutigen Standard entsprechend. So sollte man sich z.B. nicht daran stören, dass die Wasserleitungen bei Entnahme rattern wie ein vorbeifahrender Zug, Das Hotel-Restaurant ist ganz in Ordnung, ...

„We enjoyed a great 5 days at The Sands. The accommodation was spacious enough for the three of us (2 adults and a toddler). The kitchen is well equipped for self catering but there are plenty of restaurants and takeaways within close proximity. The bed was extremely comfortable and everything was spotless. „Wonderful stay, definitely recommend this hidden gem. The room was spotlessly clean. The jacuzzi bath was huge plenty of room for 2, truly relaxing. The shower was perfect. Our room had an outdoor seating area which was perfect to sit out with wine and nibbles. An ice machine was available so you could fill your own ice bucket, there was a wine chiller in the room which was useful. Everything in this place was brilliant making for a peaceful, laid back luxury break.“

„Excellent apartment and well appointed with everything you could need. The main criticism is of the arcade they have there. Many of the things in there were not working such as the pinball, pool table, air hockey, grab games, and the penny slot ones had no rubber strips on some of them making them impossible to shove coins forward, so basically taking your money with zero chance of winning. It needs a complete revamp or closing totally “

„We liked the property it was very clean and smelled nice upon entry. It was in a great location. The only thing of concern was the shower in master bedroom flooded floor of bathroom, there was clear evidence of that constantly happening, the shower is on the wrong wall it just needs moving.“
