„Classy Hotel in an 18th Century Georgian architectural landmark which was saved by the Hotel Company. Went there first on a rushed business trip and went back half a year later to enjoy it finally with my partner. The pool is warm and not exactly for a sporty swimmer, but is nice with the opportunity to swim outdoors. Beds and Breakfast are excellent and up to the price. After finding the south of England more and more crowded, the Peak District is an area I was happy to discover.“

„Dog-friendly hotel, located outside the city centre at a nice environment- perfect to walk the dogs. Very comfortable rooms. Breakfast was very basic and can‘t be recommended….at least not for GBP 18,-. Overall a good place to stay for dog owners.“

„Only a one night stay with our son and new wife to celebrate their wedding that day. Staff were amazing and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Made use of the pool and sauna and quiet areas although had to stop using the pool for the aerobics class. Had dinner in the Upper Deck restaurant which was lovely. Again brilliant staff who new their stuff“

"Für einen Städtetrip als Familie mit zwei Kindern ist die Lage in direkter Nähe zum London Eye und BigBen ideal. Das Zimmer hatte eine gute Größe für 4Personen (inkl. Microwelle und Nespresso Maschine). Das Zimmer war sauber und gepflegt. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig mit einer guten Auswahl für Groß und Klein."
