„The house was nice, the kitchen had most everything we needed. Outdoor lighting was really good, it was easy to pack in the dark. The beds were comfortable. However, there was evidence of mice in the oven and lower cabinets, and the gas fireplace did not seem to work. There were also some towels that had been left in the washer, so it was pretty smelly. I emailed the manager about the mouse problem but had not yet received a response upon checkout. Overall it was a comfortable place, except for ...

„What a great place to stay for a weekend getaway. My wife and baby went while there was no water in the lake just to enjoy rural Tennessee and we could not have asked for a better place. We really appreciated how clean it was and felt. There is clearly a lot of thought and detail that goes into this home. Now we want to come back when there is water in the lake!“

„We really enjoyed the lodging. It was very close to the downtown area able to walk everywhere. But yet it felt like it was in the woods with the river in the back and in a neighborhood. It is very comfortable and cozy and clean. Although the pull out sofa bed was very uncomfortable and there were no blinds in the main room so the street lights were very bright. Other than that, we really liked it“

„The property was a perfect location and fit for my daughter and I while we spent 2 days fishing in the Watauga and the Holston Rivers. The kitchen was adequately stocked for home cooked meals and there was plenty of space in the home for the both of us. The surrounding area was also very peaceful and quiet at night time. A great stay and would definitely book again when in the area! Also, the muffins were a great treat too!“
