„We returned here for the 2nd time and had a really good time. Homely good food, cooked fresh every day. The rooms are not huge but are comfortable and clean, with the tea and coffee supplies restocked daily. We will be returning next year if not sooner. Thanks Lyness Guest House“

„It was a convenient location. It was good to be able to leave the car outside the guest house, and for it to included in the price. My husband and I enjoyed the views from the bedroom window overlooking the bay. However the bedroom was smaller than we expected. The staff and customers were friendly. We expected our 'own' bathroom to be in our bedroom, as opposed to being on the landing next to our bedroom. “

„Pleasant quiet room, the hotel is on the less crowded North Bay area so very quiet but this also meant that there was nowhere close by to eat. The proprieter was very helpful when we asked for an earlier breakfast as we wanted to get on with ur onward journey.“

„Room, a good size and couch to sit and watch TV. Only problem was room was on side of main road and difficult to sleep in noise. Also bathroom sink tap not functioning properly. First night I could not open the tap to wash my hands or fill kettle for a cup of tea, had to use the shower. Second night took time to switch off tap. Rang bell to get assistance but no one came so communication poor. Overall not very happy that basic need like tap water was not easily available.“

„it's a great location, with a marvelous view. right on the sea front, only a few minutes walk from the city centre. check in procedure was fast but very friendly. should have booked parking, but that was my fault. what i like are decent showers, with plenty of water pressure, which often is a real issue in hotels around the uk, no disappointment either. i had a great easter break, thank YOU !“
