„We stayed one night. The inn is perched up right on the edge of the moors with some stunning views. It is a 2 min walk down the hill to the beautiful hamlet or up the very steep hill to the ruins of the old iron ore furnaces. „Wir haben das Hotel als Unterkunft während unserer Wanderung auf dem Cleveland Way genutzt. Positiv aufgefallen ist uns die sehr gepflegte Außenanlage. Im Hotel selbst wird aktuell umgebaut. Uns hat das für unseren Aufenthalt von einer Nacht nicht gestört. Das Zimmer war tadellos, das Restaurant vom Raum sehr schön und das Frühstück überaus reichhaltig. “

„DasRaven Hall Country House Hotel, liegt direkt an der Küste an hohem Kliff und bietet einen wirklich sehr schönen Blick über die Nordsee. Das Interieur des Hausest ist etwas altmodisch, was aber einen gewissen Charm hat.. Leider ist aber auch die Haustechnik ziemlich altmodisch und eigentlich nicht dem heutigen Standard entsprechend. So sollte man sich z.B. nicht daran stören, dass die Wasserleitungen bei Entnahme rattern wie ein vorbeifahrender Zug, Das Hotel-Restaurant ist ganz in Ordnung, ...

„This were lovely rooms (we booked two, as there was a group of four of us) and they were identical, except one had a shower, the other a bath. They were spotlessly clean, and the bed was very comfy. Staff were very helpful, it is worth noting they don't serve food on Sundays but we were guided to a local pub within five minutes walk as an alternative. “

„Wonderful stay, definitely recommend this hidden gem. The room was spotlessly clean. The jacuzzi bath was huge plenty of room for 2, truly relaxing. The shower was perfect. Our room had an outdoor seating area which was perfect to sit out with wine and nibbles. An ice machine was available so you could fill your own ice bucket, there was a wine chiller in the room which was useful. Everything in this place was brilliant making for a peaceful, laid back luxury break.“
