„Really well appointed rooms with funky decor, great beds & funiture, and lovely bathrooms. They've done a great job of the hotel and grounds, and it's a great location in the village opposite the church. Easy access to nearby towns, the moors and the coastline. Would highly recommend. A real gem.“

„Compared to other hotels in Scarborough this one is a good choice. A friendly and professional welcome, a nice view, a large room. The downsides are the room is directly situated above the bar & garden which has customers drinking, laughing and yelling till midnight. Food is ok, but not great. The friendly receptionist is also a very good escalation manager and took the parking fee off the bill to make up for the noise.“

„Had a brilliant time at Rockliffe Hall. The spa was really relaxing and well worth it. The spa treatment itself was spot on, and the views around the place are lovely. The Staff were great: polite, helpful, and made everything easy. They left a few things out for our birthday celebration, which made the day feel special. Tip: on your last morning, try to squeeze in one last 1/2 hour the spa to set you up for the day.“

„This wasn't the most comfortable or homely stay I have had at The Bay at Filey. The apartment is very basic and not homely. I would say it is adequate, with basic seating, minimal crockery and dark furnishings, which are a little depressing. It was very clean and tidy. There was no mirror near a socket to use the hairdryer. A strong smell of curry, which after the windows were opened, still stayed unfortunately. There was a lot of flies inside this property.“
