Bar und Restaurant waren dauerhaft geschlossen. Das gebuchte Zimmer war beim Check-in nicht verfügbar. Man musste nach einer Nacht wieder umziehen. Kompensation gab es keine. Personal spielte oft am Handy und hätte freundlicher sein können. Hotel bietet keine USB Ports in den Zimmern.

Das Restaurant und die Bar sind seit Corona geschlossen. Man hat uns nicht informiert, dass man eine Zimmerreinigung ( Betten machen, Handtücher etc.) am Vorabend anmelden muss. Bei einem Aufenthalt von 3 Nächten hätten wir das erwartet. Kaffeemaschine ist auf dem Zimmer, Kaffe jedoch nicht aufgefüllt, da kein Service. Die Umgebung ist etwas schmutzig.

Sehr stylisches Hotel mit für New Yorker Verhältnisse großen Zimmern. Sehr gute Ubahn Anbindung an Midtown Manhattan und dafür sogar ruhiger. Habe schon einige Hotels in New York durch, ab sofort geh ich wieder hierher. Preis Leistung absolut unschlagbar (Stand März 2020)

Man kann für dieses Stadthotel nur beste Noten vergeben. Das Personal war super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind großzügig geschnitten und sauber. Das Hotel überzeugt absolut und hat einen ganz besonderen Charme. Vielen Dank für alles, wir kommen wieder!

Hotel würde ich jederzeit wieder buchen, Preis Leistung super, alle Hotel-Leistungen tip-top. Die Ubahnstation ist auch sehr nahe, dank dem ist man wirklich sehr schnell in Manhattan und ohne Umsteigen im JFK. Einziges Minus Wäre vielleicht, dass es in Hotelumgebung wirklich NICHTS hat ausser einige Restaurants und ein Tankstellenshop, für mich hats gerreicht :-)

Umbau!!!
Es gab keinen Hinweis, dass das Hotel renoviert wird. Weder auf der Website noch auf der Buchungsplattform. Da schenkt man einen Aufenthalt zum Geburtstag in einem stylischen Hotel und dann sieht das Geburtstagskind nur kahle Wände. Kein bisschen Flair von der Paperfactory wie sie war. Viel bezahlt - nichts geboten. Danke.

Tolles Hotel mit guter U-Bahn Anbindung
Das Hotel ist super modern und wirklich schön! Derzeit fanden Renovierungsarbeiten statt, die aber nicht weiter gestört haben. Das Hotel liegt direkt an der U-Bahn Station, was sehr praktisch ist. Die unmittelbare Umgebung ist allerdings nicht weiter spannend. Das Personal war größtenteils sehr nett. Nur eine Angestellte hat es mit der Freundlichkeit nicht so genau genommen.. Alles in allem würde ich das Hotel weiterempfehlen!

Hotel ok but poor housekeeping and very noisy
The Hotel by itself is pretty new and with construction work ongoing (bar/restaurant) The location is good, close to a metro frol where you can reach most NY sightseeing spots in about 20-30 minutes. Unfortunately there are many negative points: The Hotel is extremly noisy. You can hear each word from other rooms what will dramatically decrease your privacy and even be a problem if you are not able to sleep because of music etc from other rooms. The houskeeping was not able to fully replace our set of towels that we had from the beginning all six nights. Always something was missing and the service was sometimes extremly late (5 pm) Considering the price of the Hotel we would not book it again

The metro is definitely in close proximity to the city and glad that was a plus for you. Sehr schöne Ausstattung und Deko, sauber, sehr freundliches Personal. Mussten nach 1. Nacht das Zimmer wechseln, da beim Mercedes-Händler um 3 Uhr morgens Wäre geladen wurde, was sehr lange laut war. Zimmerwechsel war kein Problem!

Cool hotel that needs a lot of work...
I love the look and feel of the Paper Collective, which is cool and fun. I didn't love that the pillows offer not head support (and when I asked for more pillows, it had to be multiple times), the smallness of the shower that caused flooding all the time, or the rudeness of the front desk staff. I will say the maintenance and housekeeping staff were gems -- friendly, attentive, and overall wonderful. The bar or restaurant was never open, so I can't weigh in on that. The coffeemaker in our room worked occasionally, as did the elevator. Loved the gym, the location, and the aesthetic, but I'm curious as to why I should stay again considering that all the basics -- sleeping accommodations, bathroom, etc. -- aren't really up to par?

The hotel was right by the subway entrance. If you plan on going to Manhattan for the majority of your trips, it's only 20 minutes subway and a 2-5 min walk to the nearest entrance. Room was spacious, but kind of ?? that you could tell the ceiling was sloppily fixed from leakage. Also kind of annoying that they start you off with only two towels and a like 2 bottles of shampoo/etc despite our room having a queen king bed which obviously meant there were at least 4 people staying.... staff acted annoyed that we kept having to ask for more towels. But other than that staff wasn't rude and the place was decent- maybe not as a four star hotel.

This hotel is close to several train stations so it’s very easy to get anywhere. The room was quite small but worth the price we paid. I would stay here again based on location and value.

No brainer/best in Queens/NYC
This has to be the best deal in all of NYC. This probably wouldn't be the place for first timers to the city but you will not find another place with as much room as the Paper Factory. We absolutely loved it!

Cool aesthetic. Room was austere and barebones. Our door was found open when we returned from a day out. Cleaning had been in, so I expect they forgot to close it. This is a major safety concern and I'd like a refund for 1 night of the stay.

Watch out if you have loud neighbors
During our recent stay, we were woken up by extremely loud neighbors at 4:15am. We called the front desk to take care of the issue, but nothing changed. The neighbors stayed loud, and we contacted the front desk again at 4:50am. The front desk offered us a different room, but it was 4:45 in the morning and my traveling companion had an important event the next day. My companion had ear plugs and was able to somewhat sleep through the disturbances, and changing rooms would have meant waking up fully to pack and move - making the situation even worse (I did not have ear plugs and had to fully deal with the loudness). The hotel should have removed the guests at this point. This didn’t happen and the guests remained loud until 6:15am. I emailed the manager and requested a refund because the hotel failed to deliver a good experience. The hotel should have removed the guests, and upon failing to do so, the hotel should have granted the refund we requested. Instead, the manager told us that since we turned down moving rooms at 4:45am, that he wouldn’t refund our stay. When hotels.com contacted the hotel asking for a refund on our behalf, the manager again said no and denied any refund. Furthermore, the manager said that hotels.com could request a refund as often as they’d like, but the answer would always be no. This is reprehensible customer service by the manager. It was the hotel’s responsibility to take care of the problem. It was not our responsibility - as the injured party -
