Chalets in Nationalpark Lake District suchen

„Every aspect was great. Just a small trouble with unloading luggage as there is not much space to park if the spot is already taken. Also, from the hotel welcome message it feels like they will help unload luggage but you do that on your own. They have good amenities but not so easy to find information about it, like access to private beach or availability in Spa. Overall, I enjoyed the stay a lot and loved the swimming area and steam/sauna experience.“

„a very faint smell after dogs in my room. the spa had a few tiles that came off and one of the misty showers didn't work. however, the room-upgrade was grate and the food lovely.“

„Great base for walking in Langdale, you go straight out of the back door and up to Stickle Tarn. Excellent breakfast with good choices, a good selection for the evening meal and the Old DG hotel 15 minutes walk away if you fancy a change. Nice lounge for the wet days. 100% recommend“

„All good and convenient“

„The historic building is fabulous, the atmosphere great, it's the pole position in Windermere, great view on the lake. I wonder if it is necessary that during the summer season the building is under construction. With scaffoldings in front of the windows, some parts of the building beside the entrance in bad condition, and even a corridor we had to pass everyday was stuffed with furniture, cardboard boxes ... This is not the atmosphere for holidays. Due to repairs on some wires, the internet ...

„We used the Hare & hounds as a stopover on our way home but will give serious consideration to returning to explore the Lakes from there“

„Sehr schönes und hübsches Landhotel. Zimmer war sehr neu renoviert und sauber! Lage etwas ausserhalb, aber kein Problem. Das Restaurant ist hervorragend.“

„My stay was short but very enjoyable. It seems the hotel has been recently refurbished. It is stylish, comfortable, functional and has all the little things I appreciate on travels: TV, internet and proper parking space. Full points.“

„We stayed one night at the hotel The restaurant was very nice and we both enjoyed our meals there , both dinner and breakfast. the room we booked was a superior room, we were a little surprised to find 2 bunkers in the room (as well as the king bed) but it was quite spacious in the room so it was ok.“
