„There are a lot of different breakfast options, and the food is great especially the bacon in Eggs Benedict and the sourdough bread. The spa bath is great, and the bathroom is nice. The only problem is the extra bed is a bit too soft, and the bed is a bit too low. Access to transport is near, as Windermere Library bus stop is near (basically in front of the hotel!), so is Windermere Railway Station as it’s an 10 minute walk via High Street. Overall the stay is pretty good.“

„Juli 2014. Colin und Mandy sind überaus freundliche Gastgeber, Zimmer (Nr. 3) war ausreichend groß und gut ausgestattet (Kaffee/Teebereiter, TV, Fön...), das Bett bequem, das Bad klein. Alles war sauber. Es sind nur wenige Gehminuten bis in den belebten Ortskern, das B&B liegt aber absolut ruhig. Es hat keinen Garten, in dem man sich ggfs. aufhalten könnte. „The room we booked was on the ground level overlooking the intersection so it can get somewhat noisy because of traffic and other guests in the house, but since it's a small town, it was ok at night. „Zimmer in hübschem Altstadthaus. Direkt an Ortsausgangsstraße, nachts ber OK. Kein eigener Parkplatz, muss in Nähe gesucht werden. In der Nähe viele Restaurants und Pubs. Zimmer wurde leider nicht jeden Tag gemacht, und der abgebuchte Preis entsprach nicht dem Expediapreis. Trotzdem aber durchaus empfehlenswert, weil infach ideal gelegen und im Preisvergleich letztlich OK.“
