„Detached house in quiet cul-de-sac but only 5 mins (down and up a hill) walk from Bowness town, shops, pubs, Beatrix Potter.House has 3 good sized bedrooms, twin and 2 double, one has a nice view. Spacious and big enough for our family of 4 adults and 2 children. „Fantastic home on the lake with gorgeous grounds and views. Plenty of rooms to spread out and have privacy yet also large family rooms for gathering together for meals and games. Hosts were excellent and very responsive with tips for local restaurants. Overall a magnificent property and we hope to return! “

„The property was excellent, everything you need for a comfortable stay, the double bed was very comfortable and warm. The only thing we found it was a bit far away to walk to the bar/restaurant, for our age group we are late 70 and early 80s.“

„We stayed in July 2024 as a group of 13 (age range was teenagers to adults) + 2 dogs. Location is great with a good range of shops, restaurants and bars within walking distance from the house and main attractions of Windermere a short drive away. 5 en-suite bathrooms were much appreciated given we were 4 separate families. Also a table we could all sit at at the same time also fab! Hot tub also appreciated!“

„ We stopped at Croft cottage over the Easter weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. As a party of 6 adults a baby and a small dog the house was plenty big enough for everyone and was fully equipped which made our stay pleasant. The gardens and views over the lake from the hot tub are beautiful and were perfect for an Easter egg hunt. „Das Ferienhaus liegt sehr ruhig, dennoch nur ein Fußmarsch von 10-15min vom wunderschönen Städtchen Windemere entfernt. Das Haus ist für 6 Personen eingerichtet und gut ausgestattet. Der Garten ist sehr schön angelegt. Es hat an nichts gefehlt , nur leider war das Internet/Wifi zu schwach. Dieses Ferienhaus können wir in jedenfall weiterempfehlen“
