This was the worst experience we have ever had with a VRBO. We booked and paid back in May and were very excited about our stay. A couple days out, I reached out to inquire about an early check-in and didn’t hear back. At that point I wasn’t worried, I just figured the answer was no and we would figure out timing out. A day out as I was leaving on my flight I reached back out to the owner via the app and made a call because I still didn’t have any check in instructions. After landing in London I looked for anything from the owner and still nothing. I had to call VRBO while I was at the airport and they reached out to the owner too, and could not get in touch. VRBO told me I needed to wait an hour to give the owner a chance to respond, which we did and still never heard anything. After calling VRBO for the 2nd time, we were able to cancel the reservation and they assisted in booking us another space. Worst experience we have ever had.
