Kona by the Sea is an absolute oceanfront property and features a large freshwater swimming pool with a generous sunbathing area. Additionally, there's the Historic Alii Saltwater Pool, conveniently located right on the waterfront. Onsite amenities include a spa and a barbeque area.

This unit comes equipped with beach chairs, towels, an umbrella, and a small cooler for guests' use. While some snorkel gear may have been left by previous guests, we don't provide snorkel gear. Non-fitting snorkel gear can ruin the fun, so it's best to rent your own equipment during your stay.

Situated along Kona's infamous black lava shoreline, Kona by the Sea offers breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean, creating the perfect backdrop for a dream Kona Beach vacation. This condominium resort is conveniently located near popular snorkeling and surfing spots, while still providing a serene retreat with its tropical landscaping and sandy lounge area beneath the shade of breezy coconut trees.
Oceanfront property disclaimer: We're thrilled to share that this stunning oceanfront unit offers breathtaking, unobstructed views of the sparkling ocean and the beautiful reef below. During the Hawaiian winter, you might notice vibrant ocean swells and refreshing winds that truly showcase the island's lively spirit. These natural elements can create a delightful saltwater mist on the glass, which may slightly alter your view but adds to the charm of the experience. As you relax on the lanai, the high swells, strong winds, and occasional rain can bring a splash of adventure to your stay! We encourage you to embrace these wonderful aspects of island life when making your booking.

Driving is optional. Unless you are planning to explore the island during your stay, you won't necessarily need a vehicle. The Kona Trolley (Hele-On Route 201) is a convenient, open-air transit option connecting Kailua-Kona and Keauhou via Ali'i Drive. The trolley runs seven days a week from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., with buses arriving approximately every 60 minutes. The general one-way fare is just $2.
