Wonderful Kalani Kai condo that's located in the heart of Kailua-Kona. Walking Distance to Everywhere in Town!

Tiled throughout, No carpet! You'll appreciate a remodeled fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops, good quality cabinets,
Dishwasher, Stove, Fridge, Washer/Dryer, Wifi, Cable TV all included! Air Conditioning Wall Unit in Living Room Only, not in the Bedroom.

This first floor condo has views of a lush tropical garden! The Interior space has been extended, so it's a bit larger than other units because the lanai has been removed. There are sliders that open, but no lanai space as a FYI.

A parking space that's close to the front door as well!

Kalani Kai calls has a wonderful pool deck that is finished in beautiful stonework. A community grilling area contributes to the tropical lifestyle and it's practically right outside your front door.

It's just a short walk to Kailua Pier, shopping, restaurants and night life on Alii Drive.

Close to the center and the beach. A cozy apartment that had everything you need for life and relaxation. My favorite place in this apartment was on the balcony by the window through which there was a great view of the plants. We were very pleasantly surprised by the gift left for us in Hawaiian style.

Perfect location

We loved the condo, it was exactly as advertised. The grounds are very well maintained and provided a lovely setting to relax. The lanai was screened in and allowed us to leave it open for great ventilation. We never needed to use the ac. There are several items on hand that make beach life comfortable such as a couple cooler options, snorkel, fins and masks, beach chairs and beach towels. The kitchen was clean and well stocked with small appliances. There are also a couple grills by the pool. The staff we were helpful, David hit a home run with excursion bookings and Nikki made check in a breeze and also hooked us up with coffee and a few special treats for the next morning. Our parking spot was convenient and when we had a neighbor mis-park, they were available to help resolve. The condo is convenient to Ali’i drive and it was nice to be able to walk there to explore. Safeway and Walmart were both very convenient as well. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Great Spot

This was the second time we've stayed here and the first under the new management company. Communication and check-in were great and flawless. Properity is as described, nice not busy pool area that's close to condo, all the beach gear you need (chairs, umbrella, coolers). Lot's of great restaurants within walking distance, Lava Java and Papa Kona are excellent. Would i stay here again, yes!

Good location but…

The size of the accommodation is very nice, however, it has a very musty, damp and dirty smell to it. Being on the ground level there is a lot of noise from neighbors coming and going cars driving by etc. is very hard to get rest at night. I also did not appreciate getting a call after the first day to solicit me to buy properties? One more note on the downside was how much cleaning up of the property was required of us as guest. Taking out our trash, doing the laundry, stripping the sheets off the bed, etc. these are things you expect to be drugged by the cleaning service. The location was good to many local conveniences, and it was easy to get around.

Perfect spot for a long stay!

Great place! Really appreciated having access to beach blanket, cooler and chairs. Well thought out accommodation. Wish we had stayed longer. Nice pool and bbq area clean :) (Could use an extra set of coffee mugs and maybe some sugar as that’s a pain to buy, but appreciated the coffee filters. )

The place was great. It had everything we needed. The only drawback I have: being forced to take an insurance coverage for something that I was already protected for by my own insurance. Yes, that was mentionned il the listing but only in the English version. We booked based on the French version and it did not mention that requirement. The Italian and rhe Spanish version were not mentionning that requirement. Efforts should be made so that every version of the listing tells the same thng.

It's an easy to find place, with parking a few steps away from the unit door. They also provide quite a fan of things you may want to use: cooler, beach chairs, umbrella... I just wish my wife told me about this closet full of fun things!!! Check in was seamless and communication was a breeze. They responded to every single message I sent, even after hours. Place is very quiet, has a pool and it's at a walking distance from downtown and beach. I would love to go back and definitely recommend it to anyone.

Perfect for Ironman Kona

My husband, little one and I needed something convenient and close to the Kailua Pier (IM Village and start/finish) due to the little one. This was perfect. I could easily go in and out and check in on my family, and on race day they could see me at the start, transitions, run course, and the epic finish. It was super close without the hecticness of one of the host hotels, and had a washer/dryer and full kitchen which is really important race week, and when traveling with a little one. My family stayed at a resort a few miles away, and came in just for the race day and were thankfully able to get a visitor parking spot very early AM - they cheered w my husband and little one all day and could comfortably rest in between which is important to me because it’s a longer day for them. Knutson was regularly in touch through the process, and the unit was very clean and had everything we needed. Mahalo!

stayed for a wedding. location was good. unit was good overall. have a minor ant problem in kitchen. having been to hawaii before we know not to leave anything on counters so not too big of an issue. ceiling fan in living room did not work. and fan/light in bedroom was set on a timer somehow so light would come on in middle of the night. never did figure out how to stop that. nice pool bbq area.

Located behind the old Church in Kailua town this VRBO is close to downrown, but not too close. A/C in living room and fans in bedroom.. washer and dryer is great to have, and the kitchen is well equipped. A wonderful place to explore big island from. Oh, reserved parking space is also great!!!!

The communication from the property management company was excellent prior to and throughout my stay. The condo is in a great location to Kona village main tourist area. The condo itself was exactly as described in the listing. The unit was well stocked with everything you need for a comfortable stay as well as beach supplies (chairs, umbrellas, cooler , beach towels).

Loved the condo

The summary of our experience is simple: We would stay here again! We were here for a week of scuba diving with Jack's Diving Locker and the condo was a perfect for our needs. It was very well equipped, there was nothing we were in want for.
