Building 1 is incredibly special because of its location within the development. The topography for this oceanfront building is unique due to its position on the land. The Direct Ocean View ground floors units in this building are more prominent vs the buildings to the South.

The Keauhou Surf and Racquet Club is a gated community of condominiums. There are three professional style tennis courts with night lighting; a tennis pro is on hand daily for lessons or game improvement coaching.
The large, remodeled swimming pool is ideal for “laps” and also for small children water activities. Showers and restrooms are conveniently located in the large pavilion near the swimming pool and tennis courts.
One of the most interesting features of the Keauhou Surf and Racquet Club are the numerous archaeological sites. These preserved areas provide a glimpse of Hawaiian life years ago. Each site has a posted description of the activities that took place years and years ago.
The Keauhou Surf and Racquet Club has many gardens and walking trails. ONE GOES DIRECTLY TO A BEACH!! Flowers and tropical foliage are abundant. There are several outdoor barbecue areas for guests to go to.

Beautiful ground floor unit, very fresh with amazing outdoor patio facing the ocean. We enjoyed sunsets from it and also used the nearby area for fishing, vey convenient; all in all amenities in the complex were clean and updated, kids tried pool and played tennis. Great location close to couple small beaches: snorkeling spot and the beach with huge waves to have fun, literally 3 minutes drive; also the sopping plaza was close to the complex and it was enough for our family of 5. This was our most expensive accommodation on Big Island, but it worth the money.

Excellent location with perfect views

The location of the unit is ideal for getting around the Kona area. The propety is beautiful. The unit itself has a walk out covered lanai that is pefect for sitting and listening to the waves crash and the bird chirp. You will not be disappointed staying here.

Perfect family condo

Book this condo! The grounds are perfect for families. Very safe and protected with gated entry. Our 4 kids (8-14 years) loved all the amenities including a large pool, volleyball, pickleball/tennis courts, and walkable beach access. We were pleasantly surprised by the owners attention to detail. Bedding, linens, cookware, small appliances, tupperware were very high quality. The owners go above and beyond to make sure you enjoy your stay with pickleball and tennis equipment, beach towels, chairs, and boogie boards. And to top it off, you can hear and see the waves crashing at all times! Amazing sunsets!

Met our needs

Location met our needs perfectly between Kaanapali and Kapalua. With easy access to condo from parking to unit. Clean and comfortable. Well stocked with linens and beach towels, beach chairs, boogie boards, cooler, umbrella, etc. Kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed, but suggest having microwave safe plates. We did have a hiccup with twin bed assembly, but we addressed it and notified management, with our reply.

Fabulous condo!

We loved our stay at this condo right on the ocean. It is truly oceanfront. Great location, convenient to most places on the island and close to necessities. The beds were comfy and condo was nicely renovated. We had everything we needed and also were so appreciative of the management company - they were easy to work with and flexible when we needed. We will definitely be back!

Dream Come True

We were greeted at the condo by Rep. Hunter who gave us a brief overview of the unit and grounds.....It was gorgeous, just pictured on the website. 5 stars!! Clean and spacious. High quality furnishings and art throughout condo. The location was amazing and almost heavenly. Gorgeous sunsets with an oceanfront view. We saw whales and dolphins during our stay as well from our lanai. Our only regret was we forgot our binoculars. Between the ceiling fans and cross breeze of opened screened windows and doors, we were always comfortable and didn't need AC. This trip was a lifelong dream and this condo and location was our dream come true.

Although Hawaii is known to have bugs, All the properties I stayed in had certificates of when pest control services were performed. I did not find any in this property. And this property had roaches everywhere at night they would come out on the floor, kitchen cabinets, bathrooms, bedrooms and even got into the refrigerator. We felt more comfortable leaving our luggage outside on the porch. The property was less expensive than others due to no AC but possibly this was another reason. The property itself was nicely furnished but had stipulations making us not want to be there. Such as don’t put anything on the tables that would leave a water ring and be careful touching the doors separating the bedroom from the living area due to them being made from a paper that you can put your hands through easily. The only plus was the location. But I would never chose this property again.

Idyllic Oceanside Condo

A very clean condo stacked with many amenities including small appliances (coffee maker, air fryer), beach chairs, umbrellas, noodles, boards, to name a few. Maybe the best place to see the Big Island sunset, directly from the patio, and relaxing to hear the ocean waves hit the volcanic rocks just a stone throw away. Close to many beaches for relaxing or snorkeling and close to places to do Manta ray snorkeling (you can easily walk). Would definitely consider staying here again.

Phenomenal Stay!

This is such a STUNNING place, and the communication with the property manager was amazing and the views are incredible. The lanai is absolutely perfect, and where we spent majority of our time. It’s large, has an incredible view, and the kids loved playing in the grass. Direct sunset view every single night! We also appreciated the grass volleyball court, ping pong, and table tennis on the property. There is a cute, simple little private beach that was wonderful for a morning coffee and family picnics. The location is excellent- a short drive into town along the beautiful Ali’i road. The market up the street along with Peaberry and Gallette coffee was excellent. The beds are very comfortable, there is plenty of space. As an added bonus, there are chairs, toys, umbrellas, and a lot more that you can use during your stay. We HIGHLY recommend this stay!

Amazing stay

We loved our stay in this condo. The view is spectacular. We enjoyed our breakfast on the patio while watching whales. The condo is so beautiful with exceptional attention to detail. The owners have furnished with unique and delicate furnishings so you do need to be careful but those are the things that differentiate this place from the ordinary rentals with throw away furnishings. We felt this place was special. The manager was very easy to work with and responsive. I have only wonderful things to say about this place. We miss it already!

Amazing Kona Home

This property was way better than the pictures can show. Really open and bright and the sound of the ocean breaking on the rocks just feet away was amazing. Really updated and new everywhere and there was everything you can imagine that you would need. When we went for a beach day there was chairs, umbrella, cooler, towels and other things we did not use like boogie boards etc. The home was obviously just remodeled and the bathrooms and kitchen were clean and fresh. I usually do not like in person check in because I am usually tired from travel but in this case we were met, shown some good information and she was off. Everything was amazing and this will definitely be in our hope we can go there again file.

Beautiful condo in Keahou

We stayed for 3 nights. Overall, I loved this property! It is clean and well kept. The setting is peaceful and serene with ground floor lanai looking out onto ocean. The decor is lovely and updated. There is no AC, which wasn’t too much of an issue but might be for some. Honestly my only complaint about this property that would prevent a future stay was the property management company was a bit over the top. Inundated with instructions and an owner requirement to have to have an in person orientation. Our direct flight to Kona was cancelled and we ended up arriving on the last flight in, late, hungry and tired. They graciously waived the mandatory orientation, as it would have been difficult to coordinate. However I then received a call the next day from Blake letting me know the the bedside tables cost 3k a piece and we should not set drinks on them, even on coasters, as the owner had them photograph the furniture after each check out for water rings. Also, I was afraid to touch the Japanese sliding doors for fear of damage. I don’t fault Blake or the management company, as they are just complying with owner instructions. However, it added a certain un welcome feeling and had us all walking on eggshells around the place. Personally, if you are going to rent out your condo, maybe you should put glass protective tops on your furniture? We are very responsible guests, but it added a certain amount of tension and stress I really didn’t need on vacation. I will say that if you need concierge services (we didn’t), they will bend over backwards to ensure a happy stay! Anyway, the surf and racquet resort is perfect location! Close enough to Kailua but out of the fray. If you can find a different unit in this complex, 5 star!! Best for adults, not a kid place.

Lovely Property

We have stayed in several different vacation rentals over the years and this one did not disappoint. The property was clean, quiet and very well maintained, and the Knutson Property Management team was a pleasure to do business with. Wonderful oceanfront in Kona! I’ll be back!

I really loved this place. I have a special appreciation for ground floor oceanfront units in that the view is less restricted and you can feel like you can walk right into the beauty of it all. The place was particularly well appointed, spotless, and had a well crafted Hawaiian theme to it all. Very well done, and my sincere thanks for those responsible. Parking was close and the unit was quite accessible. The development was very well cared for and it felt like a very safe area. While I didn’t spend much time at the pool this trip, I did appreciate that it was more spacious than most: you could actually swim some laps if you want. The tennis courts were colorful, well cared for, and inviting, though I didn’t take advantage of them. I had a very good experience with the manager, and I appreciated the periodic check-ins to make sure all was well. The location is quite close to the Keauhou Shopping Center, with many very good restaurants that we enjoyed (Thai, Sushi, Italian …), both carry out and outside seating. I highly recommend this place and hope to come back for another stay in the not too distant future!

Great place to stay

Gated community on a rocky shore line. It was great to listen to the surf right outside our bedroom. Unit was well stocked with beach equipment. Location was perfect for us. The Farmers Market at the shopping center on Saturday was awesome. I will definitely be back.
