We chose this spot because we wanted our first of three spots we were staying in Hawaii to have the sound of waves and an ocean view. We got that here. We watched the surfers for hours, tidepooled, and visited several other beaches nearby. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed to prepare your own meals. The bathrooms were stocked with shampoo and conditioner and plenty of towels.The outside of the building could use some updating but the condo itself was wonderful. We only used the pool once and it was okay. Anytime we had to contact the host they replied quickly.

Nicely updated, great ocean front location. Watch surfers all day right off the rock wall. Rocky area to enter beach but didn’t stop many people from fishing, snorkeling or surfing. Friendly residents in complex. Near many places to eat and shop. Would recommend

The rental was beyond our expectations. It felt just like home and was extremely clean, well stocked both in the kitchen and bathrooms. Soap dispensers were provided along with body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. The rental also had several beach chairs, boogie boards, cooler for personal use, beach mat, and umbrella. Holly, our amazing host, provided so much and more. She was in constant communication with us, ensuring we made it safely to the condo and provided any additional information that was useful to us. From the minute we walked into the condo, you could feel the amazing breezes from being right there on the ocean. The views were amazing and the sound of the crashing waves was a perfect way to end each night. We will definitely keep this rental in mind when we return next year. You will not be disappointed if you are looking for your next stay in Kona.

The host was amazing! Great communication. The condo was absolutely beautiful! It was very clean, updated and great decor. There was plenty of linens, towels, and beach towels as well. The air conditioning worked so good to keep us cool at night. The view is unbelievable! We would love to stay here next year, but it is already booked.

Beautiful Views! Great Location!

This condo has beautiful views of the ocean and sunset from the lanai! It is conveniently located and close to many great restaurants. We felt very comfortable and relaxed throughout our stay and the free parking was very convenient. We would highly recommend this place!

Holly was flexible and quick to respond to all of our questions. The view of the ocean and sound of the surf from this unit was spectacular. The unit was really clean, and probably the best stocked rental we have ever had. The kitchen had everything you would need to cook meals for your stay and there was lots of paper towels, toilet paper, shampoo, laundry detergent and beach items.

We have stayed in various condos at the Kona Bali Kai yearly (almost) for the past 12 years. This was, by far, the most well stocked condo we have stayed in. We were very impressed, as well, with the condition of the furniture, the renovation, and the condo as a whole. When there was an issue with the lanai fan, Holly was quick to respond to our email and had it replaced promptly. Snorkel and beach equipment was provided and it was all in good condition. All of our interactions with Holly were exceedingly pleasant and we would definitely stay here again!

Amazing stay!

From the moment you walk in you can see the property is cared for. It has all you will ever want or need. It is the perfect place to stay. The view is astonishing gorgeous and to have breakfast by the ocean was a nice treat. What I appreciated the most is that the place looks even better in person than on the pictures. Great condo with a view!

The view from the balcony was perfect! We loved to sit outside and watch the surfers. The location is great - easy to get to all of the places we visited. The unit itself was very clean with ample space, laundry facilities and full kitchen. Holly was always available for quick communications and regularly checked it to see if we needed anything. Would definitely recommend this place to others!

Surf & Surfers

This condo is as well-appointed as any we have stayed in. Everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay is provided. For guests looking for a place as close to the ocean shore as possible, THIS is it! We spent most of our time on the lanai, watching surfers ride the waves. And our Host, Holly, provided a seamless check-in; and, ensured a quick response to any questions we may have had. Overall, one of our all-time favorite VRBO stays!

This is the 4th time we have stayed at a property that Holly hosts - and as usual, it did not disappoint! The kitchen and bathrooms were so well stocked, and it was so nice to have all the equipment needed for a nice day at the beach. The home was so clean and nicely decorated. And I love, love, love having the washer and dryer in the unit! We spent a lot of time watching the surfers just outside of our lanai - such wonderful built-in entertainment! My favorite part was falling asleep to the sound of the waves just outside. Holly was again absolutely wonderful to work with - so responsive and attentive. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

Paradise lovely

This Hawaiian condo was recently updated as well as new furnishings. The host provides a cooler, beach chairs/towels, guide books, etc. It’s well maintained and comfortably, Island stylishly furnished. Holly is efficient and quick to communicate, providing detailed information. A great location to explore both sides of the island. And ohhh that lanai! 21 days @ Paradise

Our 3-week stay here has been wonderful and memorable! Not only was it a birthday celebration for both my husband and I, but it was also a perfect way to celebrate the end of my cancer treatments! We were able to explore the island and at the end of the day, take in the breathtaking views on the lanai. We slept to the sounds of the crashing waves each night! For the first two weeks, we’d watch for the green flash, but many times it would be overcast. However, on our last week, we saw it 3x! Amazing! The condo was stocked with a variety of things. I especially appreciated the selection of books, board games, and trivia cards. The location seemed perfect for exploring the island. In our 3 week stay, we were able to cover most of the places we wanted to visit and more! It was great that there were umbrellas and extra towels that were easy to bring along as well. Holly was available to answer any questions and always responded promptly. She was an excellent host! When the WiFi was down, she was able to fix it/help us remotely.
