„This was a fantastic find for an overnight stay on our way to Glasgow, wish we could have stayed longer and explored the lake and surrounding areas. The bar and restaurant were very good and the couple who were managing the pub at the time of our stay were excellent hosts. There is plenty of parking and this very old pub has very modern rooms. Would defiantly recommend and stay again. “

„We booked last minute as we were tired with still a long way to drive home. We were welcomed by the owners and got our key quickly. They said they had only owned the hotel about a year and were gradually doing it up. The bar is listed and absolutely beautiful. Our room had everything we needed after a quick shower we had a great sleep. Breakfast was included in the great price and was top class. Hopefully we'll wander that way again and would definitely stay at the station hotel again. “
